SCARED OF FOREVER ♥ COVER REVEAL
Title: Scared of Forever (Scared, #2)
Author: Jacqueline Abrahams
Release Date: December 14, 2014
Synopsis
Every lie, no matter how small, has some degree of truth.
Five months after moving to New York City, Emily is engaged to Blake Carson, future doctor and the man who she believes to be the love of her life. Until she starts to realize that the foundation upon which she’s building her future is based on a series of Blake’s self-serving lies.
Blake can’t let her go. He can’t continue to deceive Emily, either. But Blake’s biggest problem is that he has to maintain the life he has become accustomed to, at any cost. And that means keeping his overbearing mother happy, and keeping Emily ignorant.
Tyler Carson left New York City two years ago, happy to leave behind all of the Carson family drama. Until he comes home and meets Emily. Falling in love with his brother’s fiancĂ©e was easy. Protecting her from his family was necessary. Leaving her was almost impossible, knowing that he was breaking her heart, and his own.
Finding solace in her friendship with Tyler, Emily is forced to face the reality that Blake is not the man she thought he was. But neither is Tyler, the friend who gave her the clarity she needed, and then left her alone to pick up the shattered pieces of her life. Heartbroken and deserted, Emily has had enough of the Carson brothers.
But sometimes, love is not that which sends us soaring, but that which keeps us grounded. Can Emily ever bring herself to love another Carson completely?
Secrets, lies and lust-filled nights, all in the name of the screwed-up pursuit of happily ever after, Scared of Forever is the second novel in the Scared Series, which features characters from Scared of Beautiful, but can be read as a standalone.

My Coyote Ugly Life Release - Sept 26
“How on earth do I get myself in these situations? I swear it’s like a never-ending bad dream. One of all my mistakes that continuously bite me in my size ten ass.”
Azaria ‘Ree’ Gable had her one experience with heartbreak and that was enough for her. She’s perfectly satisfied with her ‘One Month Rule’ and doesn't need her life changing anytime soon.
When circumstances take her back home, she learns things have changed…
A lot…
First and foremost being with the complete and astonishing overhaul and revamp of the Belton Police Department, where apparently the application was changed to state ‘Ugly Men Need Not Apply’ and the only requirement is ‘How Well Do You Look In This Uniform?’
Ree unexpectedly catches the eye of the new ‘gina-quiver inducing Chief of Police Grayson Cole, which starts an endless game of cat and mouse.
Will Ree let go of her misconceptions about relationships and allow Grayson to show her how beautiful life can really be?
See, this is what annoys me. I don’t care
if a guy is checking me out. Not tonight anyway. I’m just here to say goodbye
to people I’ve come to love over the years. This night isn’t about getting laid
and after this morning I feel that I need to tone it back. The ‘clingers’ are
just getting too frequent.
I think all of this in the second it
takes me to turn my head (like I’m just looking around the bar) and then my
eyes lock on a delicious slice of heaven sent straight from the Gods. And he is
looking right at me. I try to keep my composure, but my body’s reaction to him
is instantaneous. Everything tightens. Especially my super-secret places.
Even sitting I can tell that he’s tall,
very tall, has short dark hair that stands up in different directions, like he
runs his hands through it a lot. His jaw is perfectly square and clean shaven;
his nose straight, with what appears to be a slight bump on the bridge that
adds character to his face. His body is lean and clearly defined in a maroon
shirt that is tight around his arms, chest and shoulders. His skin is a golden
tan color, and somehow I can tell that he must work outside a lot. He doesn’t
seem the type to lay in a tanning bed. His legs look long and powerful in a
pair of faded jeans that had to have been designed just for him. He may be
fully clothed, but I can tell that he is an exquisite package of pure
muscle.
His eyes lazily work their way up my
body, causing me to shiver, until they stop to look into mine. I can feel
myself panting, like a dog in heat, and I would be embarrassed if it wasn’t for
the fact that he obviously notices, and a slow, sexy, half grin spreads across
his face.
I immediately take back every negative
thing I have ever said about half grins in my life. They are the sexiest
fucking things God ever deemed necessary to give to man. My ‘gina agrees whole
heartedly as it begins to (literally) quiver.
After a few minutes in Swoonville, I
decide that my night of ‘no sex’ was just a delusional thought, during a weak
moment. I turn back to my friends, smile at them, pick up my drink and walk
towards the bar. I don’t feel bad about not saying goodbye to them; they know
how it is.
I sidle up to the bar and take a seat
next to him, surprised it isn’t already taken, and lift my bottle of beer up
towards the bartender, like that was my purpose for coming over here in the
first place. I can see his smile deepen through my peripheral vision. Well, at
least he’s not dense and can figure out what I’m doing. Hopefully, he plays
along…
The bartender brings my beer and sets it
down in front of me. I reach in my pocket to pull out money, but Mr. Sexy Half
Grin places a five on the bar stating, “I’ve got it.” Thank God.
I turn to him and smile, “Thanks.”
He turns his body towards me and smiles,
full on. No half smile. Just a full playful smile and I’m pretty sure my vagina
has a seizure.
“Well, that’s the way the game is played,
right?” he asks me straight out. How rude!
“You know, you shouldn’t point it out,” I
inform him. “It’s rude and could wound my girlie pride.”
He chuckles, annnd… another seizure for
my ‘gina.
“I have a feeling you can take it,” he
says lifting his beer to his mouth.
Yeah, I can take it. I could take it
all.
Wow. Those lips are fucking sexy. Like,
sexy, sexy. World Peace could be made with those lips.
“What’s your name?” he asks me.
“Ree,” I reach out my hand to shake his.
“Ree?” he asks grabbing my hand, not
shaking it. Just holding it, making electricity shoot up my arm.
“Yeah,” I sigh, exhausted from having to
explain this to everyone I meet, “It’s short for Azaria.”
“That’s a beautiful name,” he says in all
seriousness and my eyes widen incredulously, “What’s wrong with it?”
“It’s ridiculous. My parents must have
been high when they named me,” I explain, what I think is, unnecessarily; my
mind
notices that he is still holding my hand and I
don’t even care. “What’s your name?” I
ask him.
My first book, Darkness Deserved, released July of 2013. It is the first book in the Shattering the Darkness Series.
I'm crazy and love my friends, family and booze.
I used to never read when I was growing up. My mother always tried to get me to read and I wanted no part in it. I figured why read when it's going to be a movie? (Yes, like I said crazy.)
Well a few years ago I jumped on the Twilight band wagon. I've always loved supernatural movies and when I saw the previews I knew I wanted to see it. And see it I did. I immediately went out and bought the books and became hooked.
They came to me at a very special time in my life.
I discovered I loved to read and found my nitch in the paranormal and romance genre. I started a book club with a cousin and all of a sudden these thoughts kept assaulting my brain.
So I wrote them down. Then, deciding that I wanted to write, I contacted some wonderfully amazing women who helped me through the process.
I now have three books under my belt and am still learning constantly.
My Life Series, is by far my favorite to write. There are some events in the story that are based on actual events that have happened in my life.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed living them.

Secrets and lies… No good ever comes of them.
My life is proof.
For eleven years, I’ve suffered from a suspicion that has waged a war inside my head, filled me with rage. Left me feeling helpless.
But then she came along.
The darkness continues to consume me, but when I’m with her, I can ignore it, push it away. Even if only for a little while.
Payton calms me. She manages to quiet the noise in my head. But the secret is still there, still continuing to plague me day after day. Yet I still can’t bring myself to tell her even though she deserves to know. She needs to know.
I love her. And I’ll do anything to protect her.
Although I’ve found some peace, my life continues to unravel, no matter how hard I try to stop it.
My name is Sebastian Trovato and this is the continuation of my story.
If you are wondering who I am, then I'm here to tell you. Timberlyn is the sweeter alter ego of New York Times bestselling author Nicole Edwards.
I can hear the question now... Why? Why do you have another pen name?
It actually came about when a storyline developed in my head. As I saw it coming together, I knew it was vastly different than what Nicole Edwards writes. So, it was then that I was created.
Anyway... Thanks for stopping by. I'm so glad you did.

The Legends Saga
Raven
4 stars
I love the way this author has integrated the old tales into this story. I find myself wanting to look back into them to see where it all stemmed from. It is a look back into history while bringing it into the current day with the newer characters. Ireland is a strong character and perfectly written. Her allies, Rip and Noah, are so helpful and complement her perfectly. I can’t wait to read more as additional characters are unveiled.

Clamping
her eyes on the wash of tears that threatened, Ireland ignored the wailing of
her heart … and laid a palm to each of their cheeks. One lone tear snuck
between her lashes at the cascade of tingles seeping up her arms.
“You
can’t blame them for not understanding,” a familiar voice drawled behind her.
She
spun as he neared, leaving Rip and Noah wheezing for breath—or, more likely,
completion of her task.
Techno-colored
flowers bloomed in a colorless world each time the sole of Ridley’s shoes met
the earth. The crisp cut of his white, tailored suit was accented by a burst of
color from the button-down shirt beneath that changed in hue to match the
species of flowers that sprung to life. Hydrangeas blue. Orchid purple. Lily
fuchsia. Rose coral. As he neared, Ireland noticed his eyes morphed to match as
well. The result hypnotic.
His
haggard and troubled façade was a thing of the past. The man before her exuded
confidence and a zest for life from every pore. The draw of which was so
magnetic Ireland had to fight to keep her feet planted while her body insisted
she close the distance between them.
“To
them this is a thrill, a game of chicken against the Reaper himself.” Ridley
paused beside her, his shoulder skimming hers. Even then he didn’t grace her
with a glance, his attention fixed on Rip and Noah. Tipping his head toward
her, the warmth of his breath teased over her breast bone. “For us, it’s
destiny.”
The
moment he stepped away from her, the chill of solitude lashed at Ireland’s soul
and cut deep. Bending eye-level with her withering subjects, Ridley pursed his
rose petal lips to blow a soft, healing breath over both of them. Wan
complexions of the dying were ripened to plump apricot. Both men blinked away
their disappointment before dipping in a low bow—foreheads to the ground in a
show of respect.
“No need for that, boys.” Ridley smoothed
the front of his suit coat, a self-depreciating chuckle playing over his lips.
Neither humbled servant budged.
“You’re like me?” Pacing in a slow circle
around him, Ireland’s eyes narrowed.
He matched her steps, leading them in an
intimate waltz normally reserved for predators—or lovers.
“Like you?” He tsked. “Oh no, my darling
flower. There is no other like you. Our only similarity is being pawns in a
game that began centuries before either of our fathers got an amorous gleam in
their eyes.”
Ireland’s gaze lingered over the soft curve
of his mouth, wondering if his lips could possibly taste as delectable as they
looked. “How do we play?”
Curling one finger into a ruffled tuft of
her skirt, Ridley pulled her to him. Bowing his head, he brushed his cheek over
the delicate curve of her collarbone. “The game is already in motion,” he
murmured. “The rule sheet not meant for our eyes. All we can do now is stay
alive.”
Ireland weaved her fingers into his hair,
yanking his head back with a passion driven force that bordered on violent.
“I’ve taken lives. I’m a monster,” she snarled against his lips, tormenting
them both with the agonizing veil of energy that denied their touch.
His hand snaked up her arm to find her
fingers and loosen her grasp. Palm to palm. Fingers entwined with fingers.
“Does granting it make me any better?”
Ridley didn’t give her time to answer. With
one hand pressed to the small of her back he crushed her to him. Their lips met
with a desperate urgency that caused Heaven and Earth to quake in nervous
anticipation of what was coming …
