***I was asked to review this book in exchange for an honest review. 

Even though there were similarities with other books you can't help but been drawn into Shyla and Taylor's story.

Taylor has issues that he's drawn from a very young age. He grew up with more than most children should- mental and physical abuse. After getting clear of torment Taylor meets another in an older brother. He is thrown into a already loving family but he doesn't feel that he fits in. Over years of bullying from his brother it comes to a stop until now. 

Shyla lives as a web designer with her boyfriend Ricky, but she feels their relationship is stale. After a run in with one very hot Mr Taylor Holden, and by run I mean full on bump into each other with coffee spillage, he gives her a ride home and asked her to come in for an job interview.... Which is where things heat up. 

You can feel the sexual tension between them but also you can sense there is something dark in Taylor. He fights his attraction towards Shyla but fails and their relationship blooms. But as every story has it's ups and downs so does Taylor and Shyla's. She is a tough cookie after Taylor tells her everything but you can't help but want to hug her. She fight her emotions but he heart wins out. 
We are left on a cliffhanger that leaves you gasping and waiting for the next book. Four stars for this book by Nina.

Strapped is told in the voice of Shyla. Despite the dark subject matter of the book, Shyla's often sarcastic and humorous personality lends an unusual voice to this heroine.
