REVIEW
5 Stars
Nikola Vereshkova is a rookie NHL player who's career is on the rise. Luckily for him, his new found fame also delivers the women. Niko knows all about playing hard both on and off the ice but he isn't looking for anything more serious than a one night stand. He has too many people depending on him to get caught up in a relationship. So why does Sadie keep turning his head and showing up in his thoughts? Sadie Alexander knows what it's like to be alone, surviving only on yourself for the things you need. She is strong, independent and single. So single, in fact, she has sworn off men for 60 days after a barrage of unsuccessful first dates. But when Sadie's body goes traiter on her and she finds herself fantasizing about a certain Russian.. can she hold to her 60 days of celibacy? They are both playing a game.. but who will win?
This was a fantastic fourth book to the Fire on Ice series! Another super smokin hot hockey player that lit my imagination on fire.. whew.. I needed to take a cold shower a couple times! I applaud you again Brenda Rothert for your aptly named series, not only for your spectacular writing between the characters, but for what you incite in your readers! There were serious moments in the book and more than a few laughs but all in all a terrific romance. If you are a reader who enjoys really getting to know your characters, then this book is for you. Loved it and thank you Brenda for another sizzling book boyfriend!
P.S. This book definitely can be defined as a stand alone, for those of you that shy away from series. :) ~ Maggie for Eye Candy Bookstore
