Only—shedoesn’t know how to do that alone.
Duane has a lot on his plate. A lawyer for a prestigious law firm and a ranch owner, he hardly has enough time to breathe, let alone date. But all of that changes when he meets Ann.
A chance encounter at a bar brings them together, but it’s fate that shoves them into each other’s lives for reasons they will soon unveil together.
Can Ann open her heart and let Duane in?
Unable to Resist is a story about love, loss and finding healing in unlikely places.
Review
Ann Daniels and her best friend Liv run a popular bakery in Nashville, if you are a lover books and sweet tooth, this is where you want to be. Ann has a haunted past from Phoenix Arizona that keeps her from living a life of love and happiness. She often dreams of her Dad, trying to figure out what happened to him in his last days and dealing with other losses that prompts her to start a new life in Nashville. Ann finally seeks help to find out more about her father and finds that all of her past will collide with her future, making her realize she cannot do this alone. Duane Rynard is a hot lawyer in Nashville, finds he never has time to do much besides be the a good lawyer and run his ranch with his younger brother Aiden, so finding love is not on his mind anytime soon.
A night on the town soon changes both Ann and Duane’s life forever, that sets the two of them on an emotional journey of self discovery for each of them, but also it awakens feelings within both of them that neither one knew could ever be possible. Setting both Duane and Ann on a beautiful journey that will make it hard to put this book down.
This book was a tale of love lost and finding your way back to love and hope. Cassie Graham wrote a wonderful love story that had a couple twists I did not expect. As in most romance novels, the reader can pretty much figure out the entire story line before you get to the middle of the book, but Cassie added in a little mystery to this love story. Both characters, like real people in life, have their own issues and baggage, which was very relatable to readers like myself. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a little something different, it almost reads closely to a Young Adult book because the passion for Duane and Ann was slow and well thought out. I would read more of Cassie’s books, great writer and great story.

I look at our hands, a smile playing on my lips. “And, what’s that?”
He puts a finger under my chin and brings my face up to meet his eyes. “That I want you to be mine. I don’t want to share, Red.”
He looks intently at my face for a moment without wavering, confirming the intensity in the room. “I need to hear you say it,” he breathes out, finally.
I suddenly feel incredibly wanted and my confidence level boosts to an all-time high.
“I,” my lips kiss his chest, “am,” I lightly lick his neck, “yours.”
Duane let’s out an animalistic growl and flips me onto my back, thoroughly ending our conversation with hungry kisses.
Ann is Cassie’s middle name and Duane is Cassie’shusband’s middle name.

Originally, Unable to Resist was set in Seattle, and Duane wasn’t a lawyer, he was an author.
Cassie went to school to be a teacher, but quit to become a proud military wife in 2010. During that time, she found her passion to write. Being a loud and proud choirgirl in school, she needed another creative outlet and writing seemed like the perfect fit.
If Cassie isn't writing, she's more than likely cooking for her family or has her nose buried deep in a book. She finds inspiration in all things. Movies, music, and life fuel her characters’ lives, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
