Well ladies and gents, Mia Asher strikes again! To say I was a little excited to be reviewing Easy Virtue by the talented Mia Asher, is an understatement (excuse me while I have a FanGirl moment). I have been waiting patiently for another smash hit from Mia since reading Arsen last year and let me tell ya, she hit this one out of the park.
Blaire is a very interesting lead female character. Her actions in this story made me love to hate her. She is a very materialistic person, who learns at a young age that she can use her looks to get what she wants in life and it isn’t love. To most, she seems like she has it all figured out, but there are many layers that she doesn’t let anyone see, until Ronan. Oh my sweet, sexy loveable Ronan, I just loved him. Every single, little thing about him was magical and the way he treated Blaire and got under her skin to make her feel, ughhh he is just so dreamy (yes, I said dreamy). I felt so happy for them when they were together, like she finally was breaking through her walls.
Then, there is Lawrence, “dun dun duh!” At first he comes off as an arrogant prick that assumes he knows what Blaire wants and that he is the man that can give it to her. He is a straight shooter, which is a quality I like in a character, but the arrogance, yuck! When Blaire makes the decision to meet up with him, things got interesting... I think our man Lawrence may have a few layers to his self as well.
This book is everything I love in a good story --- twists, turns, love, lust, heart ache and complete WTF moments. I can’t wait to see where Mia takes on this amazing journey. This is a must read, 5 brilliant stars from me!
