Owen is a big sexy football star that is fiercely protective of those he cares for plus he's a big teddy bear. You get to see all his weaknesses & strengths which makes you just fall in love with him. As I was falling in love with Owen my heart would be breaking for Ember & everything that was being done to her. Loved Ember & how hard she fought for everything.
Owen & Ember are thrown into chaos at every turn & yet still manage to hold on to one another. Embers mean & hateful parents make you want to reach in & slap them for her, and you can't forget about her crazy friend Xander with secret motives & plans. With all these things you've got yourself an exciting yet loving read. I'm looking forward to book #2
