 REVIEW
I love Nix and Kadence. I love that these two strong minded people couldn't ignore the sexual tension between them. You get to meet Nix who is the president of the Knights Rebels MC and Kadence who is a school teacher. This is another MC book that takes you in a journey or love, loyalty and trust. 

Nix is your typical bad boy biker. The club is his life but so is his son. He likes his women fast and easy that is until he meets his son's teacher, Kadence who challenges him. They lock heads and the story begins with them as Nix intends to get what he wants. The tension and banter between them is sexy and fun. But I love that Kadence stands her ground in the beginning, she is a strong  independent woman, who is wanted by a sexy alpha MC prez. She has clearly been through a lot in her life but again she is strong and lives life. The connection between them both if off the charts but Kadence still holds Nix at arm's length. I love the story that runs through this book, it's not just about bikers being bad and sexual, it has a true life kind of story. 
You get the sexy mixed with some sweet Nix throughout the book. You get to see Nix and Kadence fall fast and hard. He sees her and not the scars she carries, which only makes her love him more. In the typical biker fashion you get a kidnapping and a whole world of pain but again you get to see how strong Kadence is and she over comes her battles with her sexy biker Nix at her side. 
This book shows love and loyalty at its best!

Wow, just wow. I love biker books and this was one that gets added to one at the top! 
I love how strong Holly is. She had been through so much and yet she fought her way back to the old Holly. Sy pushes for the old Holly because again being the alpha biker he feels he knows her better than herself and it's true. He is so smitten with her that he forces the old Holly to the surface. My stomach knotted so many times during their journey. 
The connection between Holly & Sy was explosive both sexually and heartfelt. The sex scenes were hot and explosive but also felt you wanting to smack Sylas silly. 
You could see how much Sy loved her though even with out the words being said. He helped bring the old Holly back. I get that she hid the secret but she was hurting and trying to come to terms with her horrific ordeal. My heart hurt for them both when the secret came out, considering what Sylas went through years ago, talk about ugly cry.
This was one hell of an emotional journey of a book.

 REVIEW
This is a novella leading into after the first two books. 
Yay, more Nix and Kadence even though within the first few pages you will feel the need to slap Nix silly and swoon at his words. But you are quickly thrown into Kadence's emotional journey that is real life to a large majority of women, myself included. You feel Kadence's pain and panic over raising her daughter. You can truly feel her struggle and it makes your heart ache for her. But what I did love is that you get to experience all of Kadence's panic through Nix because he is feeling it as well but from a different angle. His love and loyalty are torn by his heart and head. But again he struggles with the ache of seeing his wife deal with her own struggles of being around their daughter. 
As you read this book you are taken on the journey of a couple dealing with a newborn, losing themselves but finding each other again. Nix tries his hardest to help Kadence and his love and patience pays off, he gets his wife back and Kadence learns that she can cope with baby Harlow. They both have such a support system in the Knights Rebels MC. Truly touching.
