This author is crazy! Yes, I said it. She is. Kathy Coopmans will take you through the wringer with all your emotions. One page you're happy, next you're sad, then you're angry and after that biting your nails wondering if your suspicions about the way the story will go are correct. She will take your heart right out of your throat and run it through her paper shredder, the evil woman that she is. I will never read another book of hers again.....except I will. And you will too. You will have to. Because she will MAKE you need to. I thought Contrite put me through hell, but it was nothing like reading Reprisal. All I can tell you is to read it because if I tell you any of the story at all it gives away key points so I can't and I won't. Read Contrite, suppress the urge to send threatening letters to Kathy Coopmans and then jump on over to Reprisal. It is a crazy ride, but well worth the read. 5 stars.
