Cinderella meets Prince Charming at a night club...and he's her savior..and a new client. She definitely has the spoiled overbearing sisters from the story of old though- pompous, fake, bitchy. Yep, they fit. Lol! Jane and Brock never thought their lives would turn out with him catering to his grandfather's every whim while babysitting his immature, spoiled twin brothers. Jane is busy with a cleaning business she inherited when her father passed away and supporting the bitchy sisters and has no idea Brock is on her horizon.
This story gives you some of everything- a modern day fairy tale laced with romance, comedy, drama, a donkey, rooster and a broken shoe. Brock's grandfather wants good press for his company while also garnering a wife for his grandson and some grandchildren before he dies. Jane wants to keep her promise to her father to keep the family together, at all costs. The two just happen to meet when they both least expect it and while struggling with haunting pasts and a pile of expectations to live up to, they find something in one another.
If you are looking for a face-paced story that will keep you fully entertained and rooting for the pumpkin carriage driving off into the happily ever after sunset, this is definitely for you. It just won't get you there the way you expect. I loved this book- 5 stars. Kellie for Eye Candy Bookstore
