Holding Onto You by S. Moose

Holding Onto You by S. Moose

I liked this novella so much because it was from Adam's POV. So many times when we are reading a book, since they are almost always from the female's perspective, we end up wondering the entire time "what is he thinking?" and this time we got to see just that. Adam's love for Sophie is so pure and real that is breaks your heart reading it, knowing that they are apart when they so obviously belong together. This also gave me a great appreciation for Sophia that was lacking in Reaching Out For You because she annoyed the crap out of me! As I told S., this novella made me like Reaching Out for You a lot more than I did when I read it, because of the insight and background you get here that you did not in that. Great read- highly recommend. <3 Kellie

Losing my best friend was the worst feeling in the world. I always wondered what she was doing and how she was doing but I never went after her. I never took the time to find out how she was doing and that broke my heart into a million pieces. Not only did I lose my best friend but I lost the love of my life.

Now, four years later, I am back in North Carolina and find myself longing to see her smile and feel her touch.

One day, she finally sees me and our eyes connect. The connection is still there. She can still make me weak at the knees and she still holds my heart and soul.

Things are different. She is dating my teammate Kyle and I hate him. Not for dating my Sophia but for being the worst person imaginable. But I vow to make her mine again. Welcome to my mind and life. My story about finally seeing Sophia again and how I will always be holding onto her.

Adam and Sophia were best friends but when tragedy strikes it's more than Adam can handle and he leaves Sophia alone in the dark.

Four years later, Adam and Sophia are reunited and the sparks between them return but is it too late?

Sophia is happy again and has let go of the darkness. She has great friends and a sweet boyfriend name Kyle. Now that Adam is back how will she be able to balance her boyfriend and her best friend?

The darkness always finds you again but will Adam be able to save her or leave her again?

----That night I tossed uneasily in bed. I was alone and Kennedy was out with her friends. I sat up on my bed and rubbed my eyes. I never realized how much Sophia meant to me until now. Fate was an ugly and evil bitch. Why did either of us deserve this feeling? I knew it was selfish to still hold on to the past, but I hoped every day when my phone rang or vibrated that it’d be her. There were so many time I sat in my car and thought about driving back to North Carolina. I wanted to drop everything and go back to the girl who stole my heart when we were babies. The girl that understood me and made me weak with just one look in her eyes. There was an invisible force holding me back and I couldn’t break through. I missed her everyday and hoped that our paths would cross again. She was everywhere; I felt her everywhere.

Desperation of Love by Alice Montalvo-Tribue

Amy's Review: I was gifted this book & I'm so glad I was. I love Victor & Ellie's story but Alex & Jordan's story was simply epic.

It was clear from the beginning that there was a connection between them even if Jordan didn't wasn't to face her feelings. I loved how Alex just planted himself in her life. :-) it was nice to see her feelings grow for Alex even though she knew her fears would get in the way. Their relationship grew strong & love was the end result. Through the huge ups & downs that threatened to destroy their relationship, they overcame it & Jordan got her happy ending. <3 Amy
