Ashlynn turned to see Jase sauntering down the hall toward her, his thigh muscles bunching with every step. She loved the way those faded jeans hugged him in all the right places, accentuating his muscular thighs, fantastic ass, not to mention the giant bulge he sported between his legs. The man had caught her attention from the very first day he’d stepped into her house five years ago, looking for a job. He was mouth-wateringly good-looking, and that voice of his… His words alone made her insides quiver with need.

She was ready for some action of her own, and Jase was just the man to provide that for her.

When Jase’s six-foot-two-inch, extremely powerful frame pressed her up against the wall, Ashlynn clutched his broad shoulders as she peered up into those sexy, crystal-blue eyes. His blond hair was cut short but not so short that she couldn’t slide her fingers through it and pull him down to her.

Jase nuzzled her neck as he slid his big, warm hand beneath her skirt, easing inside her panties and pressing his finger against her clit.

“Is this what you’ve been waiting for?” Jase’s tongue caressed the sensitive skin beneath her ear.

Closing her eyes and enjoying the tingle that ignited in her core, Ashlynn nodded her head.

“You’re wet for me,” he whispered against her ear. “So fucking wet.”

“Yes,” she hissed.

The man knew exactly which of her buttons to push to ratchet up her heart rate, and he didn’t have any qualms about giving her what she needed when she needed it.

“Were you thinkin’ about me?”

Ashlynn nodded again, her eyes rolling back as the pleasure intensified. “Don’t stop,” she murmured, riding the sensual high her body craved as he teased her clit.

His lips brushed hers lightly. “What’ll you do if your brother comes in and sees us?”

Ashlynn smiled against his mouth. “I’ll tell him I’m a big girl and I can fuck my head of security if I want to.”

“I love when you say head,” Jase muttered.

“You love more when I give it.”

“No doubt.” Jase’s free hand slid around to cup her ass, squeezing her close as he adjusted their positions so that he could push two fingers inside her. “Is that an offer?”

That was another thing she liked about Jase. He sated her every craving and wasn’t afraid to ask for what he wanted.

She offered another nod.

“Yes, it was an offer? Or yes, you want me to make you come with my fingers, right here?”

“The first, although the second’s not a bad idea, either,” she told him breathlessly, hating that his hand was forced to retreat as she slid her back down the wall, her eyes still locked with his.

While she fumbled with his zipper, Jase pressed his fingers against her lips. “Suck them clean and I’ll give you my dick.”

Never looking away, she took his fingers into her mouth, licking them clean while she freed his cock from his jeans. When he removed them, her tongue instantly lapped at the bead of pre-cum pooling on the wide, swollen head. His hands slid into her hair, gripping her firmly while she proceeded to blow him right there, in the hallway of her brother’s house.

This was probably one of the more private places she and Jase had gotten down to business in. They’d become notorious for acting on their urges spontaneously. It kept it interesting, to say the least.

Ashlynn wasn’t embarrassed to say that her sex drive was high, significantly higher than most women. Previous lovers hadn’t been able to keep up, which was likely the reason she had never settled down long enough to have a real relationship. That and she didn’t believe that sex and love had anything to do with one another. But if she was ever going to give in to love—if it even really existed—then she was damn sure going to be certain the man could sate her every physical need first.

Regrettably, finding that man wasn’t as easy as she would’ve preferred. Not until Jase, anyway. Not that this thing between them could be categorized as a relationship. But it was the longest amount of time she’d been with any one man exclusively. They’d been fucking like rabbits for about a year, and the frequency hadn’t lessened with time. In fact, Ashlynn was inclined to think she wanted him even more now. It was as though he knew her, knew what she liked, what she needed, what she wanted.

It helped that he wanted the same things. Such as Leyton crushed between them.

Jase was openly bisexual, although he hadn’t been with a man in all the time they’d been sleeping together. To help alleviate that desperate need that ate at him, they’d started talking about their fantasies while she secretly plotted a way to get Leyton to succumb to his own desires. It was the twenty-first century, after all, and a woman was allowed to ask for what she wanted, to explore her sexuality and admit she had needs. It had been during one of those fantasy discussions that she and Jase had both learned that adding Leyton to the mix would be the cherry topping on a fucking kick-ass sex sundae.

“Aww, yeah,” Jase moaned, tugging her hair as he pressed his hips forward. “You’re so fucking hot like that, Ash. My dick buried in your mouth.”

That was another thing she enjoyed about Jase. He was incredibly vocal. There were times when he could almost get her off with little stimulation and a hell of a lot of that dirty talk.

However, as good as he was, no one was perfect. The one thing about Jase she’d noticed early on … although he was supremely alpha, when it came to sex between them, he had always submitted to her to some degree. Even if he topped from the bottom so to speak, he had always allowed her to maintain the ultimate control. And she knew, deep down, Jase worried she would break if he took that away from her.

Sometimes she feared he might be right about that.

Movement out of the corner of her eye caught Ashlynn’s attention. While she continued to suck Jase deep into her mouth, using her hand to stroke him simultaneously, she flicked her gaze down the hall. There, in all of his sexy glory, was Leyton.

Watching them.

He looked almost bored, but Ashlynn knew better. He was likely trying to figure out whether or not he should join them. She already knew what his final answer would be, but a girl could definitely hope.

Saturday morning, we walk into Forever Four, our label’s headquarters, for an impromptu meeting. None of us are feeling it. The whole way over, Finn and River were trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
As soon as the door opens and I hear Xavier Steel’s voice booming from the conference lounge, and I know what is up. But fuck if I’m gonna let them know that I know.
“He sounds pissed, man.” River’s eyebrows are sky high. “His wife is probably not giving it up since I’m sure she is just waiting to tell him she’s in love with me. She’s going to leave his ass for mine. Of course, I’d try to talk her out of it. Out of respect and shit.”
I chuckle. “You’d cream yourself if she ever gave you the time of day.” Taelyn Steel is hot, red-haired, tall, thin, and totally in love with her husband, exactly like he is with her. We just allow River this little, indulgent fantasy. It’s not hurting a damn thing… and it pisses X-man off, which is always funny.
“I would have brought her on board, let her feel my beat.” River cringes. “But she has a kid now.”
Whatever. Fucker loves that woman. I know damn well he would hit it and try to keep it. “They’re kids,” Nick is saying. It sounds like he’s trying to calm the X-man down.
“That’s just stupid shit, Nick!” X sounds pissed, more pissed than I have ever heard him and I’ve heard him pissed. “Between you and Rico, neither of you thought I should know? How many thousands were spent on these fucking shirts and hats and—”
“Slow the fuck down, X. One damn question at a time.” Nick’s laugh is awkwardly placed. “First, you are the one who said the name needed more.”
“More, yes. But this shit?” “Rico’s design is sick, man.” Nick’s tone is calm now. “And you got my text and said ‘sounds good,’ so your stamp of approval is on this shit, too. No time to change it. This starts tomorrow if they agree.”
“They’d better fucking agree. They’d better also realize that the way this company works is shit gets paid back before the royalties start getting doled out. Assuming they get a huge cut, they just completely fucked us all with this stunt.”
“I disagree.” I walk in, wearing my business face.
“What the hell is he talking about?” River follows me in and grabs one of the T-shirts off the table. “This is sick.” He holds it up against himself as Finn and I sit, turning our attention to River like he’s working the center pole at a strip club. He takes the black tee with the grey, crackled circle enclosing the different shades of reds and oranges spelling out our band’s name as he dry humps the air and rubs it down his front.
“Sick is right!” Xavier doesn’t look or sound impressed. “You tell me, River, how well do you think you’re gonna do at the after parties with the ladies sporting one of those T-shirts?”
“I always do well with the ladies.” River drops the shirt and plops down next to Finn. “Are you high?” Xavier scowls at him.
“Just a few hits this morning.” He shrugs. “Just pot, though. Not the other stuff.”
This is good considering River was shooting up when Xavier found him and then he had a coke habit for a while after that.
Exasperated, Xavier throws his hands up. “Nick, we aren’t ready for this shit in three days.” He points at the three of us. “You guys want this about as much as anyone wants”—he holds up the shirt—“a fucking STD.”
“People love rock, X.” River picks up the shirt again and looks at it, paying attention to the details for the first time, and his smile disappears.
“That shit’s not funny, Memphis.”
“So, there we have it.” X scowls. “The fucking ‘normal’ one is behind the name?” Finn pushes his sleeves up, exposing the ink that covers his arms before he folds his arms over his chest. “All three of us decided on it. It’s actually quite genius.”
“Nothing funny about a goddamned STD,” River growls, adjusting himself under the table.
“River obviously had no idea.” Xavier looks between Finn and me, like he’s trying to decide which one of us is gonna be sent to stand in the corner. “River knew,” Finn says. “He was just too fucked up to—”
“Bullshit,” River sputters. “I haven’t smoked in three days… until this morning.” Xavier is now pacing and sputtering under his breath. “We promote safe sex,” I speak up, trying to put a spin on it.
“Yeah, that’ll go over like River at an NA meeting,” Xavier huffs.
“I should take offense to that,” River says, clearly not offended. “And I would if the last one I attended didn’t go so, so horribly wrong.”
“You know those T-shirt cannons they use at sporting events?” Xavier looks at me like I’m crazy, so I clarify. “I sent a message to a friend last night, and he’s building us a condom cannon—”
“Fucking genius.” Finn reaches out his fist for me to bump. “We just need to get some condoms with this logo on it, and we’re golden. Every bitch in the world is gonna want Steel Total Destruction, the only STD that makes their panties as wet as the Jersey Shore.” I smirk, feeling proud.
“The one that makes them scream out in pleasure,” River adds while typing a note in his phone. “The burn that doesn’t need medicated ointment.” Finn reaches out his fist again. This time he gets no bump.
“Nah, man.” Nick cringes. ”That’s just sick.”
Knowing Nick’s officially in, I smile to myself. Fucking perfect. Come on, X-man, I silently plead.
“If you fail, this is on you.” Xavier’s eyes narrow as they meet mine. I shrug.
“Ain’t gonna happen. You knew what we were when you handpicked us, so don’t start doubting us now.”
We all look up at the door when X’s wife Taelyn walks in, holding their baby. She looks up and pushes her long, auburn locks over her shoulder.
“Good morning!” She greets as she sways gently with the baby in her arms. Did I mention she’s hot? Yeah she is, and fucking smart, and I knew she would be on our side.
“Good morning, Taelyn.” River makes a beeline for her and the kid. “Hello, baby Patrick.” Taelyn smiles. “He’s sleeping.” “Perfect,” River says with a shit-eating smile. “Then may I hold him?”
“Taelyn,” Xavier growls, clearly annoyed.
“Xavier,” she mocks back at him, echoing his tone.
We all laugh except Xavier, of course. “You sober?” she asks River. We all know that’s her deal with him. He’s sober, or its hands off the kid. As much as River adores older women, he adores kids even more.
I can’t help noticing the way River looks at her, like she’s the damn Mona Lisa. I expect him to bullshit her, but he doesn’t. He has mad respect for her.
He shakes his head, looking guilty, and shrugs. “Maybe next time.”
Taelyn gives him a sad look. “Okay.”
She goes over to Xavier and hands their son over. She kisses the baby’s cheek, then his.
“So, STD, huh?” After seeing the T-shirt, her eyes immediately go to me. Xavier laughs at my shocked expression. “Seriously, Memphis, you’re like one of our kids.”
“Except for the fact that you would have been, like, two when you had him,” River interjects. “Hot, toddler loving.”
“You’d better watch it, drummer boy,” Xavier hisses while Taelyn nudges him with her elbow.
“I guess it could work.” She holds the shirt up to her chest, smirking. “If anyone can make a venereal disease sound cool, it’s the three of you.”
“Four,” I remind her. “Billy boy could rock an STD shirt like nobody’s business.”
“He could, right?” She laughs. “He’ll be back in a week, very excited.”
“Wait, about what?” I ask. “You’re opening up for the Brody Hines band’s Burning Souls reunion show, you stupid shit.” Xavier speaks in a stern, yet soft I-don’t-want-to-wake-the-baby, voice.
River looks like someone just slapped him. “You’re fucking joking, right?” “Nope.” Xavier smiles. “So, let me ask you a question.” “Shoot, man.” I try to look calm, but shit. Fuck, fuckity, fucking shit!
“You ready to spread ‘your kind of rock’ around like an infectious disease?” The look on his face tells me everything I need to know—X is finally on board.
My laugh is evil and deep. “Hell yes, we are. Hell. Fucking. Yes.”
I feel tingly all over. What a fucking rush this business is. What a motherfucking rush.

I have read every MJ Fields book. Books people do not even know are MJ Fields books. She has some amazing, swoon worthy Alpha male characters in them. But Memphis Black is in a class by himself. I loved him. LOVED him. He has a nasty side, sweet side, protective, sexy, bad boy...he has it all. Memphis's sister Madison is best friends with the girl next door, the preacher's kid, the weirdo in the vintage shirts and frizzy hair. She is also crushing on Memphis for years without him ever noticing her as anything but his sister's best friend. Until one night he does. And neither he nor Tallia ever forget it.

Fast forward to when Tallia is no longer the little sister's preteen friend with a kid's body and plain exterior. Things get interesting fast when Tallia and Madison are supposed to crash in a Miami paradise with Memphis and his STD band mates for a week and it ends up being a trip sans Madison just long enough to make a spark ignite between Memphis and Tallia....

This book is true to MJ Fields' form with the dirty talk, the influx of tatted up sexy men everywhere and moments so funny you will pee your pants. Spotlight: The Hunter (The Freemasons #2) by Nicole Flockton

Title: The Hunter

Series: The Freemasons #2

Author: Nicole Flockton

Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance

Published: September 22, 2015
As Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Drysor, Dominic Cacciari will do anything to ensure the integrity of the brotherhood of Freemasonry—even if it means seducing the woman determined to uncover their secrets.

Gemma Hughes is tired of reporting about the social happenings of Perth’s elite, she wants to be taken as a serious journalist. When her newly discovered father dies in mysterious circumstances, she’s on a mission to find the people responsible and make them pay for taking her father from her. Even if the people involved are from the fraternity her father once was a member of.

Attraction flares to life the moment Dominic and Gemma touch. With both of them on a mission to protect the things they hold important, fighting that attraction is imperative. Only the more they’re thrown together, the more the lines between what they’re fighting for become blurred. Will secrets be uncovered and a love lost? Or will love be stronger than the secrets of a mysterious brotherhood?

“I wouldn’t have pegged you as the standard room type. Slumming it?”

“Are you deliberately looking to have a fight with me?”

She shrugged. She supposed she could be friendlier, but why should she? They weren’t friends. Weren’t likely ever to be friends. After she finished with Dominic he’d never want to see her face again.

“Well, put it this way, I don’t want to be another notch in your bedpost.”

He laughed. “Honey, if I wanted you in my bed we wouldn’t be standing here chatting. We’d be,” he nodded toward the bed, “over there and the only words coming out of your mouth would be my name as I brought you to the best orgasm you’ve ever had.”

Gemma couldn’t prevent the X-rated images of her and Dominic naked on the bed bombarding her mind. She had a feeling Dominic hadn’t lied when he told her he could give her the best orgasm she’d ever had. It wouldn’t be hard. Her sex life wasn’t anything to write home about. Currently the best orgasms she’d had were by her own hand and her trusty vibrator. Not that she had any plans to let Dominic know that.

“As if. I don’t plan on sleeping with you either.”

“Glad we agree on something.” Dominic strolled past her and sat down on one of the armchairs tucked into the corner of the room. He undid the button on his jacket. His snowy white shirt glowed in the muted lamplight typical of a hotel room.

His relaxed stance unnerved her. All the sass and bravado, which had coursed through her while they verbally sparred, petered out. From feeling confident at having Dominic off balance with her appearance at the gala, she now felt on the back foot.

The silence stretched between them. Gemma kept still, not wanting Dominic to know how much the quiet bothered her.

“Are you planning on sitting there for the rest of the evening, because if so, I’ll let myself out?”

“Now why would you do that? Wasn’t talking to me one of the many reasons you attended the gala? Here I am. Waiting. You have my undivided attention.”

His arrogance was going to be his downfall. She would make it his downfall. She wanted to fire her accusations at him. Wanted so badly to let him know she knew it all. Every sordid detail.

But she couldn’t play all her cards at once. If she flat out accused him, she could find herself in the same situation as her father.

“Ahh Gemma, if you don’t say something soon I’m going to think you’re all bluff and no substance. Or maybe,” he got up and moved toward her. She wanted to take a step back. Not liking the idea of having Dominic in close proximity to her. Only if she moved he would know he made her nervous. “This was all a ploy to get me alone. Maybe you want me.”

Gemma laughed. “Oh my God, you really do think you’re all that? Oh please, you are nothing to me.”

“I would disagree with that. If I was nothing to you we wouldn’t be standing here. In fact, we wouldn’t even know each other. If I was nothing, I would be downstairs, at a function put on by my Lodge, enjoying myself.”

At the mention of Lodge Drysor, the purpose of why she was standing in a hotel room returned. “Ahh yes, your precious Lodge. Freemasonry, the brotherhood of secrets. An organization at the center of many conspiracies. Such a noble practice, don’t you think? Keeping secrets about what happens behind closed doors. Why so secretive, Dominic? What are you hiding?”

He folded his arms across his chest. Such a typical defensive I’ve-got-things-to-hide stance. She tamped down the smile threatening to break out over her face.

“That’s a rather naïve approach for a reporter? Oh wait, that’s right, you’re an entertainment reporter. A true investigative reporter would know that anything you want to know about Freemasonry is readily available on the internet, or even in a library.”

Anger built up inside her at his barb about her reporting skills. She hated being an entertainment reporter. Having to report on the latest airhead socialite who was flavor of the month in Perth wasn’t part of her career path. Unfortunately, not many investigative positions were available at the moment so she had to stay where she was.

“I may work on entertainment stories, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to be a good reporter.”

“Is that right? Well, if that’s the case, hit me with the information you have.”

What did she do? Did she tell him she knew about their involvement with the kidnapping of street kids? That she knew the Lodge’s contributions to the Parklite Charity was a way of making it seem the Lodge was helping the community?

Not yet.

She had to see if he would say something that would confirm what she already knew.

“How about you answer some questions first?”

“Fire away. I’ve got nothing to hide.”

“What happens at your meetings? These rituals you have, what do they entail?”

“Lots of things happen at our meetings. Yes, we do rituals. We do initiations of members and then we have a late meal and drink Scotch. Next question?”

“You didn’t answer my question about the rituals.”

“No I didn’t, because it’s not my place to share that information with someone who isn’t a Freemason.”

“So what are you hiding?”

“I’m not hiding anything. As I said before, that type of information is available for anyone to find it. If they’re so inclined.”

Gemma had to give it to him. He gave no indication he wasn’t telling the truth. She’d done a course on reading body language. To watch for the subtle signs a person unconsciously gave if they were uncomfortable. The only time he’d shown anything was when he crossed his arms. She knew he had a formidable reputation in the business world. He’d increased his family’s wealth tenfold while building his own personal fortune. If he wanted to, he could probably buy this hotel. Maybe he did own it.

“You’re right. I could look it up at the library or on the internet. I could watch documentaries but,” she paused and closed the distance between them. Placing her hand on his chest, absorbing the charge of fire that came from him. “Why do that when I have a bona fide Freemason standing in front of me? Nothing like getting information direct from the horse’s mouth. So much more reliable than books and the internet.”

He shook his head and pulled her hand off his chest. “A weaker man might succumb to your seduction attempts. Sadly, I’m not one of them.” He looked at his watch. “Now if you’re done with this absurd investigation into Lodge Drysor, I’ll escort you back downstairs and ensure you get safely into a taxi. Then I will go back to my party. Hopefully it won’t be over.”

“I’m far from done. I’ve not even scratched the surface. I will uncover the secrets you’re hiding. I will make sure the public knows just what sort of organization you’re a member of.”

“So you keep saying and it’s getting rather laborious. So far you haven’t given me any indication you have anything against the Lodge.”

“You may think, just because you’re the Grand Poobah of the Lodge, you can boss the members of the Lodge around. The difference is I’m not a member, so you can’t boss me around.”

She gasped as Dominic grabbed her hands and pulled her flush against his body. “What did you call me?”

Gemma had met her fair share of domineering men, with all the loser boyfriends her mother had gone through before she died. She knew how to stand up for herself and with Dominic it would be no different. “You heard me.”

“Clearly you don’t know anything about Freemasonry, because if you did you’d know my correct title is The Right Worshipful Master. If you want to call me by my title, then that’s what you use.”

“I think I prefer Grand Poobah. Or maybe just GP, it’s quicker and easier to say.” She knew her comment was provocative but she didn’t care. No matter how much she wanted to deny it. Or how wrong it was. Dominic was very attractive and she’d have to be a walking zombie not to wonder what it would be like to be seduced by him. Her weak heart was telling her to forget her vendetta and surrender to him.

Not on your life, her brain screamed at her. She hardened her heart against the sexual tension strumming between them.

“If you know what’s good for you, you won’t call me that again.”

Oh, he so shouldn’t have said that to her. Telling her not to do something was akin to a red flag to a bull. The devil in her tempted her to push her luck. With her body so close to his, she could feel he wasn’t impervious to her either. Perhaps he got off on the verbal jousting they were engaging in.

“Really? I’m not afraid of you or your empty threats. So what are you going to do, GP?”

If possible, his blue eyes glowed brighter. “I’m going to do this.”

Gemma had no time to wonder what “this” was. Dominic lowered his head and captured her lips with his.
