Vision of Love - S. Moose - Review

Vision of Love by S. Moose Review
Vision of Love is a great book of love, loss, and learning to love again. I read this book over one weekend and it kept me engaged the whole time. Karly is a very likeable character who has her fair share (and more) of bad luck in life. After being abused and mis-treated by the ones who are supposed to love her the most, she is in no rush to fall in love and trust again. Nicholas is the picture perfect guy, good looking, wealthy, but what he has that most don’t in his position is a child, yep, he’s a hot single dad. (swoon). The story is well thought out and there are a lot of beautiful moments between the characters that give you a wide range of emotions to feel. I was completely in love with Nicholas and his charming ways.

I will warn you, it does end on a cliff hanger, but remember, it is also the first in the series. I personally like cliff hangers because it is certain that you will get more of your favorite characters. I can’t wait for more of Karly & Nichols… and hopefully Alexis & Larry ;)

Missing Pieces - Tiffany Flowers - Review

Missing Pieces by Tiffany Flowers Review
This book is the beginning to an amazing series!!!! Gabby finds her self in love with a man who is nothing what she thought he was. One day he brutally attacks her and she was lucky to get away. As she is trying to move on she meets a stranger that she has this automatic attraction to.

Neeko knows he has found his missing piece but struggles to get her to admit there is something between them. Then Gabby finds out she is living in a world with immortals. Neeko needs to get her to trust him while also protecting her from the demons. Can Gabby open up her heart again and learn to trust and love Neeko?

This story was absolutely amazing. It had a lot of twists and turns. Neeko will have you melting and wanting to become an immortal as well. I definitely can not wait to see what happens with Neeko and Gabby.

Something Like Normal - Monica James - Review

Something Like Normal by Monica James Review
This is my first story by Monica James and I am hooked. She has such depth to each character and you really get to know them in this story. If you want just a sweaty sex story then this is not for you. This is such a great story about overcoming the past.

Mia is running from her childhood nightmares and under a new identity, Paige, ends up with a group of people that care for her and have nightmares of their own. She is finally able to feel like a normal person with this group of friends. Even though she doesn't plan to stay long, leaving is looking harder and harder to do.

Love can hit you when you're not even looking for it and even though she doesn't really start out knowing what love is, this group has brought out feelings that Paige (Mia) had never felt before. Hank is like the father she never had, or grandfather in her case. His help and gentle nature has let Paige open up her heart to what could be and find this group of emotional misfits, but he is not without his own pain and past. Tabitha is a cheerful, bouncy redhead and welcomes Paige with open arms but she has her own nightmares. Paige finds an unexpected feeling of friendship with her and not because of her past but in spite of it. Quinn is all hard body and mystery while his brother Tristan, also hard bodied, is valiant and honest and both know Paige is special. An attraction like what Paige feels with Quinn is hard to resist but necessary to survive. Or is it?

Together they develop a family that is rocked by incidents of their past. But will their love for each other forgive the sins of the past?

I can not wait for the continuation of this series. I hope it comes soon!

Final Life & Final Stand - Rose Garcia - Review

Final Life by Rose Garcia Review
This is not my usual genre but once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It is an action packed drama with a great storyline that kept me enthralled throughout. The characters are well detailed and their interactions are remarkable. Dominique has a life changing event happen that sets everything in motion. Decisions must be made and truths come to the surface. Cannot wait to read more of Dominique's journey!

Final Stand by Rose Garcia Review
The journey continues for Dominique in another fantastic story in this series. There is more intense danger as the mysteries begin to unravel. The twists and turns keep you guessing as you find people you thought could be trusted are not who they seem to be. This book is just as riveting as the first and I look forward to reading more as this journey continues.

Death has a Daughter - Candice Burnett - Review

Death has a Daughter by Candice Burnett Review
Good vs. Evil with a twist. We have Cendall , she is the only female of her kind in her world. She's fought hard and won her place in it or so she thinks. I enjoyed reading about her fight to be her best. And the unexpected turns just keep you waiting for more. There is more to tell and I truly can't wait for the next book.

Sinfully - Leighton Riley - Review

Sinfully by Leighton Riley Review
Every woman that has ever had that 'creepy feeling' down your neck, can relate with this book! What do you do if you are being stalked? Do you take it seriously or is it just playful fun? Payton doesn't know what to make of the scary mystery letters, but can she figure it out before it's too late?

I liked this story line from page one and loved the steamy erotic scenes that Payton has throughout the book! Payton and Ryder's spark left me feeling the heat and I couldn't wait to see how their relationship would work out. This book was exceptional in the details it provided with character development and I was sad to see the book end. I will be excited to hear about Tristen's story and hopefully happy ending *wink*wink*!

Then There Was You - Melanie Dawn - Review

Then There Was You by Melanie Dawn Review
What can I say, I was blown away by the story. I loved the way the story progressed from present to past and then back again to the present. Chris and Salem had a great story to tell, from the POV from a very angry teen and a post-partum depressed woman. Each storyline was amazing and I can say I was emotionally connected to Salem.

Salem and Chris both came a long way while working together, her being the 24 year old counselor struggling with her sickness and him the 17 year old repeat offender in the juvenile lock up. Salem encourages Chris come to terms with what happened to land him there and helps him to leave on a good note, starting his famed life as a rock star on the right track to fame.

I would definitely read more from Melanie Dawn.

Unchosen - Alisa Mullen - Review

Unchosen by Alisa Mullen Review
I was excited for the book from the moment I finished the first book in the series 'Unsettled.'

Reviewed by: Maggie Wadsager
The excitement was short lived in some respects. The excerpt given to the reader for 'Unchosen' in the first book is a far different beginning than what is given to the reader in this book. The teaser actually made it hard for me to understand the characters timeline in this novel. Looking beyond the very confusing/misleading timeline, I loved the character relationships in this book! The story line itself is very enjoyable to read and I would continue to recommend this series to any person who enjoys angst novels.

Unsettled - Alisa Mullen - Review

Unsettled by Alisa Mullen Review
This book is very well written and drew me into the story immediately. Lizzie is a non-committal, carefree, caring person that more than likely will blame herself for anything that goes wrong around her. Her character spoke volumes to me and her development throughout the book just reinforced my love for her. The relationship between Teagan and Lizzie at times was difficult to not see certain 'red flags,' but the foreshadowing just had me on the edge of what was to come. I would classify this book as an Angst Book due to the roller coaster you find yourself on with Lizzie. I found this book hard to put down until I read the entire book and any reader who enjoys angst books with enjoy this story!

Cameron & Gabrielle's story continues in book 2 along with their friends stories. The mystery from book 1 is resolved along with watching their love story unfold. The couple & their friends still manage to keep you laughing with the court room antics and the adventures they get into. You also get a look at the next book involving Lily & Adam.
