I swear, one day I’m going to shove my fist in there, and then maybe he’ll learn to shut the hell up. “So you don’t want me to eat you out right here on the couch?” I drop the bowl and popcorn spills out all over my lap. I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and whisper, “I hate you.” “No you don’t. Meet Carmen

Review

Loved it! This is not a rock star love story, this is a good old mobster drama with a rock/love story sprinkled in. If you read Lifeless (which you should have before My Beautiful) then you know how it ended and this book seamlessly picked up right there, which I appreciate. Trying to remember what happened in a previous book or having to re-read several chapters of the last one again both suck so this was perfect transition from book one to book two. Jenn has a way of telling a story that gives you a clear vision of the characters and the back story like you are watching the book play out on film. I cannot wait to read more from her. 

Scarlett's abrupt ending to her relationship with Kade in LIfeless left us yearning to find out what happens with them and if Kde is able to leave behind the mob life he was born into and dragged back in as an adult. Like I said, Kade being a rock star was just a side note compared to the real story of crime, violence, gang life and murder that Kade is forced into to protect his friends and especially to save Scarlett. I loved the book, the series, the characters and the way it all ended. I highly recommend it and give it 5-stars all the way. <3 Kellie

I slowly walked up to her, lifting my hand up to caress her cheek. “I still can’t believe I’m here with you.” “Me too,” she sighed as she leaned into my hand. Lifting my other hand, I ran my fingers through her hair. I pulled the elastic band out and grasped her hair into my fist, then my mouth was on hers. She let out a soft moan as our lips finally connected, our tongues teasing and our teeth biting. I was now hard as a rock. I had to slow down before it was over faster than it started. I wanted to savor every moment. Slowly, I pulled my lips away and looked at her beautiful face. Her cheeks were flushed and her lips swollen and red. Just the sight of her in front of me all flushed and breathing heavily with her robe gaping open, made me want to throw her on the bed and fuck her into oblivion. But it would be over too soon for me. I wanted to taste every inch of her. Memorize every curve of her body, every moan that escaped her lips. I wanted to make her come until she begged me to stop. Only then would I succumb to my own needs. I lifted my hands up to her shoulders and gently pushed the robe back making it fall in a lump at her feet. “Go lay on the bed and spread your legs for me.” She hesitated for only a second. I said I would let her have control, but tonight I needed it. I had no control over anything else in my life at that moment, so right then, I needed the control. Especially after the night I had. I walked to the end of the bed as she got comfortable, resting her hands on her sides as she spread her legs for me. I could see goose bumps on her body as she bit her lower lip and gazed at me with hooded eyes. She was wet for me and I licked my lips in anticipation. I had to hold myself back from diving right in. Not once did I go down on anyone else while Scarlett and I were apart. Her taste and her smell were burned into my receptors and I didn’t want anything else to fuck that up. And right then, I needed a little reminding.

Review

This was a GREAT book! Trevor is one bossy ass man and I would have had to rack him in the balls a few times for it, but his relationship with Liz was perfect- he made her release control when he knew she needed to. She had been so used to always being in control of everything- herself, her store, her bills....when she finally needed someone else to take that control and help her when she needed it most, she had it, in the person she least expected it from. This is a continuation of Until November, but can easily to read as a stand alone, as it is Trevor's story with Liz, where Until November was November's story with Asher. The Mayson brothers have quite the reputation with the ladies, and I am looking forward to the next book and seeing if Lily can tame the next brother, the one who wears his heart on his sleeve. ;) Five stars, great job Aurora Rose Reynolds, this was a must read. <3 Kellie

First of all, let me say, I was one of THE last people I know to have read this series. I had heard so much and was afraid all the hype was going to cause me to be let down when I finally read it. I was SO wrong. This is SUCH a great series, start to finish and Euphoria ended Scarlett's story and HEA in the way it needed to. She was always meant to have the ending she did, even though some did not see that and have given Erin a lot of grief over it. I think it was a brilliant book and a fabulous series and a definite must read. Scarlett faced a lot of turmoil and heartbreak at a very young age but ended up stronger and better in the end because of it. She and I did not always see eye to eye on her behavior with the men in her life, and I called her a whore a few times, quite loudly in fact, lol! but in reality she had led such a sheltered childhood and adolescence that she was struggling to find her proper place and be who she was meant to be and she made some dumb mistakes along the way to that, just like we all do, so I guess I can forgive her in the end. Read this series, it is one of the best I have ever read. 5 Stars, definitely. <3 Kellie
