K.I. Lynn's Breach Series Spotlight Tour

Synopsis
Delilah Palmer has always maintained control of her life and outward personality, blocking the truth that's just below the surface. Using a façade meant to be normal and hide the scars of her childhood, she's made a good life for herself. Becoming a successful lawyer, she is finally free from the tortured past that haunts her daily. Until he comes along and breaks open the cracks.

Nathan Thorne has a haunted past of his own. On the surface, he is personable, extroverted, and loved by everyone; everything Delilah isn't. However, hidden beneath his charming smile is a dark and tormented man that only Delilah has the power to unveil.

Forced into a small office together, they begin to see through each other's masks, and the magnetic attraction ignites an explosive relationship. Their firm, Holloway and Holloway Law, has a strict non-fraternization policy, forcing them to conceal their breach. But despite their efforts, separation becomes impossible, deceptions escalate, and Nathan begins to teeter on the edge of being overtaken by his past demons.

What dark secrets does Nathan harbor that stop him from giving in, and what is it that keeps him from healing and moving forward? And more importantly, where does Delilah fit into his turmoil? Will they be able to accept love and deal with all the trials that develop as their secrets are exposed, or will they fall through the cracks of their pasts and be consumed by all that haunts them?

An exciting new romance, Breach will hook readers from the very beginning. With smoldering romance and captivating erotica, this enthralling story is perfect for all. Using shrouded secrets of the past and a combustible relationship that borders on taboo, this thrilling novel ramps up the tension and romance at every turn.

Hands.

They were punishing. He grabbed my waist with a feral grip, pulling me to him hard while he thrust into me even harder. The way we both needed it.

There would be bruises in the morning from where his hands found purchase, but I didn’t mind.

The day was the same as the one before as he took from my body, my heart, my soul. In return he gave himself to me the only way he knew how: with bruising hands, passionate kisses, and hard thrusts.

His body was sin, his cock was sin, and I was a sinner.

His hands moved up my thighs, his long, slender fingers playing my body, bending me to his will. They were a delicious torture, just as much as his words.

His lips sucked at my neck, teeth digging in, making my eyes roll back; another mark.

I grinned. He loved marking me, and I loved hiding them from people. They were proof, a reminder of his need, his pleasure.

My tongue ran up the column of his neck before I found the perfect location to mark him as well. The spot I choose, just below his ear, would make it visible, unable to be hidden by the collar of his dress shirt.

It would make his admirers mad with wonder when they came around to bug him the next day. I smiled at the thought of them finding out he was breaking the rules every day with me, and not them.

Hollywood had nothing on us. Awards could be given for the lies we told, and the feelings we hid under a mask of hate and indifference.

He pulled my hair, bringing my focus back to him. His teeth scraped my neck. No doubt leaving small pink trails on my skin. He growled. “You’re not paying attention to my cock, Lila.”

A shiver ran down my spine and my muscles clenched around him, eliciting a rumble deep in his chest. He thrust hard, using long strokes, causing me to scream out in response.

He picked up the pace. “That’s it, baby. That’s what I like to hear.” He was pushing me to the edge again. “Scream for me. I want everyone to hear what I do to you.”

My mind was fuzzy, lost in a sea of lust. I obeyed and let go, no longer holding back. My screams echoed around the room, and that trademark smirk of his formed on his perfect features.

His mouth moved down to my breasts where he began licking and nipping. The combination of sensations from his body’s assault was too much. His name spilled from my lips on a scream as my back arched off the bed. My hands grabbed his arms; nails digging in as my walls constricted around him.

“Fuck, you feel so damn good when you come around my cock.”

I was too far gone to respond, my body going lax after my orgasm. He was still going. Both hands were back on my hips as he drove into me. His stamina was unparalleled. How many times in the past had I been forced to come multiple times before he spilled inside me?

“God, I’m close,” he grunted before pulling out.

I whimpered at the loss, but knew what he was doing. What he wanted from me.

I managed to turn my body around, coming face to face with his cock and took him into my eager mouth. I lapped up my juices from him as my tongue swirled around his length. His eyes were on me, watching his cock disappear between my lips. He loved to watch me suck him after being buried in my pussy. I sucked hard, punishing him as he had me. I was rewarded with a hiss and a flex of his hips. My teeth grazed his skin. He moaned deep in his chest, his panting gaining speed, muscles tensing.

His hands wrapped up in my hair just as he began to thrust, fucking my mouth. He was grunting and moaning as he hit the back of my throat. I reached up to massage his balls, adding to the sensations.

“Fuck!” he cried out. His hips flexed forward before jerking. He came hard; spurt after spurt, sliding into my mouth and down my throat.

After licking him clean, I released him from my mouth. I smiled up at him and he leaned down to kiss me. The kiss was passionate, as were all his kisses. It was also harsh; his teeth biting on my lip, scraping it, tasting himself.

He got a rag to clean me up before we laid down and curled into one another. Tomorrow was closing in. Another day of wearing masks and hiding what we wanted, what we were, from the world. Another day of denying each other. Another night of punishment to look forward to.

Why was he punishing me? Because I called to him, and I let him do whatever he wanted to me. Punishing himself for wanting me and doing whatever he desired to me.

Punishing us for our breach.

Excerpt
My eyes began to open, fighting against the glue that seemed to be keeping them shut. The morning light seeped through the windows. My hand twitched, and I felt something between my fingers. I looked down to find Nathan’s familiar hair beneath my palm. His head was lying on his arm, his other hand draped on my stomach. He was asleep.

I’d been dreaming.

I studied him. There were dark circles under his eyes, and his face was gaunt. He seemed thinner, too. I hadn’t noticed how terrible he looked because I refused to really take a good look at him. I didn’t want to.

The dream resurfaced, and in my mind I remembered how good, how healthy, he looked. I also remembered the family we had. I had dreamed of him, dreamed of us, and what we could be.

My walls were cracking. I wanted it. I wanted it so badly. I wanted him.

My fingers combed through his hair, and I wondered if I’d been doing that in my sleep? Had I known he was there and reached out to him?

It wouldn’t surprise me. I never could deny the draw I had to him. The more I thought about letting him in, the more my chest constricted, my breathing more labored.

It would be up to him. If he wanted me as much as he claimed, he would have to show me.

Everything.

Nothing less would allow me to open back up to him. No more hiding. He would have to let it all out before I even considered.

He stirred and my fingers stilled. His eyes opened, and I stared down at him. They closed again, and his head pushed up into my hand as he let out a sigh of contentment.

“Hi,” he croaked. I didn’t respond. I was muted as his blue eyes gazed up at me in reverence. “How are you feeling?” His hand rose from my stomach and moved a strand of hair from my face.

“You really want an answer to that?” Just because he brought me food and movies, did not mean everything was wonderful.

“That bad, huh?”

I shrugged as best I could. “Broken heart, broken body, and broken soul. Not sure I can get more broken than that.”

He cringed against my words. “I’m going to work on fixing all those things.”

“You have a plan for that?”

“It’s formulating. Slowly, but it’s coming.”

I quirked my brow at him. “Are you sure about that?”

“It’s a twelve-step program.”

My lips twitched. “Really? What’s step number one?”

“Admitting I’m in love with you…to you and myself.”

Jake Campbell, was gorgeous enough to catch any woman’s eye, but he had a hard time finding the right one for him. A Fairfield detective, he lives with his mother to help care for her since she was diagnosed with a debilitating disease. After meeting Emma, he knows he has met the woman of his dreams. Now he just has to convince the independent Emma that it is time someone took care of her. While helping one of her students, Emma becomes suspicious of criminal activity in her new town. Will Jake be able to save Emma in time for them to build a life together?   "Emma’s eyes shot up to Jake’s face. The face that kisses her so sweetly and whispers to her in the night. The face that calls her name when he comes inside of her. Now that face is so angry and his rage is focused on her. She could feel her chin begin to wobble, knowing tears were soon to follow. Jake was aware of the change in her, felt her breathing hitch, and some of his ire release. Knowing that she needed reassurance he took her face gently in his powerful hands. “Emma girl, I’m not mad at you. I’m mad that someone is fucking with the woman I love. Someone has threatened you, scared you, and I didn’t know that was happening. And a man like me, does not like to find out that his woman is being fucked over. So baby, we need to know what’s goin’ on.” Emma looked around at the room full of people, people that she knew cared about her. She had wanted to figure things out on her own and as much as she considered herself to be a strong woman, she was afraid. And now…. with someone trying to get inside her house, she was even more afraid. Looking down, she realized she was wringing her hands, trying to stop the shaking. “Emma,” Jake said again softly, knowing that she was still in shock. “Tell us about the notes.” Emma looked up into the baby blues that contained so much emotion; anger, fear, love. She knew she needed to trust that he would forgive her secretiveness and allow him to take care of her. Emma’s eyes shot up to Jake’s face.  **I really enjoyed how she used so many emotions through out the book. I giggled and cried. I fell in love with all the characters. This story is about family, love, and finding your home. **This first novel by Maryann Jordan is so refreshing. It combines a passionate love story with a little mystery mixed in! Both of these combined makes for a story you cannot put down! **Absolutely LOVED this book! I had the honor to beta read Emma's Home, and I was blown away! This is a very down to earth and realistic story that will touch your heart. Not only is it steamy sexy but the challenges that Emma faces would be completely overwhelming to others. If you are looking for a book that has a very strong female lead, this is the book!! **I also love all the surrounding characters in Jake and Emma's lives. They are so supportive and funny. They bring so much life into the book as well. I have to say that I was surprised by the plot twist. I was not expecting anything like that to come into play in this book. However, I LOVED it. It broke this book away from all the other typical romances that are out there. **Maryann has done an amazing job with Emma's home. Not only did she give us our love story but she gave us drama suspense and a little mystery. I loved the story from the first chapter. This story makes u smile laugh and hurt with the characters you are pulled into the story and crave to see what happens next. It's truly a must read. **I truly LOVED this book. The story of Emma and Jake was super sexy and heart warming. Loved Jake's protectiveness. Loved Emma's independence. And the other characters were awesome as well and can't wait to catch up on them. Ladies, if you wear panties, leave 'em off, Jake will just melt them right off!!

Sam walked out of the kitchen and into the living room and sat on the sofa. Gray followed behind her and sat at the opposite end. He faced her and rubbed his face in his hands.
“I'm so sorry, Sam. I shouldn't have lied to you. I didn't know how you would handle the fact that I was going to be there with Suzanne. I know we have talked about being open and honest and I am so, so, sorry. I swear to you I’ll never do it again, ever. And for the record, that picture was not what it looks like. We did not spend a happy day together. I got there at the very end of the Grandparents Day gathering and Suzanne told Lily to come and ask me to have her picture taken with me. We were posing for our picture and Suzanne jumped in the picture at the last minute. I swear to you that’s what happened.”
Sam turned her head and looked out the window.
She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “I can't be in a relationship like this. I want better—no lies, no manipulation. We’ve talked about this. I can't do it.”
Gray gasped like she had hit him. “Sam, please no, please forgive me. I swear to you I’ll never lie to you again, I swear it. I didn't want this scene, that's why I didn't say anything.”
Sam jumped up off the sofa. She was pissed. “This scene is happening because YOU LIED, you son of a bitch. I know that both you and Suzanne are Lily and Lincoln's grandparents. I’m not an idiot. I asked you this morning if you had anything special going on today and you said it was a regular day. YOU LIED! Did you know yesterday that you were going? For that matter, how long have you known you were going to Lily’s school for Grandparents Day?”
Gray looked up at her. He had a tear sliding down his cheek. “I knew Wednesday.”
She was stunned; he had been lying for three days.
“You fucking jerk, you make me fall in love with you and you lie to me. You son of a bitch.”
She started to walk away, but Gray jumped up and grabbed her. She tried squirming away, but he wouldn't let her go.
“Please calm down and talk to me. Don't run away, please Sam.”
She fought to get away, but he was holding her tight. She finally quit fighting him and stood there, tears running down her face.
“Bastard.”
“You can call me all the names you want, I deserve it.”
Gray’s breathing was ragged and he was sucking in deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He wrapped his arms around her, tightly.
“Sam, you said you love me, is that true? Do you love me, Sam?”
Oh my God, she did say that! Crap, she did say it, and she did love him, but right now was not when she felt like saying it to him again. She was not going to tell him she loved him right now. Gray tightened his hold on her, they stood there for a long time. After a while he started rocking them back and forth, slowly, back and forth, back and forth. She heard him sniff and she could hear his heartbeat, strong and solid. He put his hand on her head and pulled her head to his chest. He put his arm back around her to keep holding her tight. He smelled good too, dammit. They rocked back and forth for a long time, maybe ten minutes, not talking, just rocking; she did feel calmer.
When he sensed that she had calmed down, he pulled his arms away slowly, he reached down and put his fingers under her chin and pulled her face up to his, as she looked into his eyes, she could see he had been crying too.
“I love you, Sam. I think I loved you from the first moment I saw you, but one thing I know for sure is I love you now. Please don't leave me. Please try and work it out with me, please. I swear I will never lie to you again. I swear it.”
“Tell me why you really did it.”
She stepped back and looked at him. She needed him to look at her and tell her the truth.
Gray shook his head back and forth. “Sam, I really didn’t know how you would handle it. I meant to tell you, I tried a couple of times but I just couldn’t get the words out. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings, I would never try to hurt your feelings. I didn’t know if I should invite you to come with me and I knew that Suzanne would be there, although she spends no time with the kids, I’m sure she was there because she wanted to do just what she did, manipulate the situation to look like something it wasn’t.
“After a little while, it seemed like too much time had passed and I had already lied to you on Wednesday when I told you there was nothing special going on this week and I was scared. I swear it, it’s the truth.”
Sam took a deep breath and turned to sit on the sofa. She put her head in her hands and looked down for a while. She needed a little time to process this information.

I was born in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri named Bridgeton. During my time in Missouri, I explored the Ozarks, swam in the Mississippi River, played kickball and endless games of hide and seek with the neighborhood kids. Spending summers in Kentucky with my Grandmother, Ruth, are the fondest childhood memories for me.
At the age of thirteen, my family moved to Wisconsin to learn to farm. Yes, learn to farm! That was interesting. Taking city kids and throwing them on a farm with twenty-eight cows purchased from the Humane Society because they had been abused, was interesting. I learned to milk cows, the ins and outs of a breeding schedule, feeding schedule and the never ending haying in the summer and trying to stay warm in the winter. Our first winter in Wisconsin, we had thirty-six inches of snow in one storm and were snowed in our house for three days! Needless to say, I wasn’t loving Wisconsin.
I am now married with four children and two grandchildren and a new one on the way this summer. I have learned to love Wisconsin, though I still hate snow. Wisconsin and the United States are beautiful and my husband and I travel around by motorcycle seeing new sites and meeting new people. It never ceases to amaze me how many people are interested in where we are going and what we have seen along the way. At every gas station, restaurant and hotel, we have people come up to us and ask us about what we are doing and offering advice on which roads in the area are better than others and great rides others have been on if we are interested.
I come from a family of veterans. My grandfather, father, brother and two of my sons and one daughter-in-law are all veterans. Needless to say, I am proud. Proud to be an American and proud of the service my amazing family has given.

“Do you trust me?”
“Of course not, I just met you.”
“Then how about giving me the benefit of the doubt?”
She raises an eyebrow at me, and before I give her a chance to respond I slam the shot then pull her face to mine. And as my mouth covers hers, heat rapidly spreads through my body. She’s momentarily stunned. Her body is rigid against me, but then she relaxes, parts her lips and lets the tart liquid slide into her mouth.
I can’t believe I just did that.
I can’t believe she just let me.
After she swallows, she lets her lips linger, sucking up the taste of the sweet shot, causing my nervous system to shift into hyper-drive. We break apart slowly, but I refuse to let go of the nape of her neck. She just stares up at me with these enthralling eyes I know I’ll never be able to resist.
“Do you always break the rules?” she asks.
“No, not usually, but you seem to make me want to do crazy things.”
“Was that crazy?”
“Let’s do it again and find out.”
I lick my lower lip, tasting the sweet remnants of her lip gloss before I drop another shot. I pause for just a beat before lean down and press my mouth back to hers and let the alcohol flow between us. I flick my tongue against her teeth right before I pull away. I shouldn’t like this so much, but I do. I like the way she looks, the way she feels, they way she smells. There’s something about her, something ventilating; like she oxygenates the atmosphere.
I catch the cool beats to a song I recognize pumping though the air. “Do you want to dance?” I ask her.
“You can dance?”
“There’s only one thing I can do better.” I smirk.
Alana cocks her eye brow suggestively.
“Draw.” I fire back. “The only thing I can do better is draw. Dirty girl.” I tease as I grab her hand and lead her out to the dance floor knowing Mac will look after our drinks.
Once we find a comfortable spot, I start to move to the smooth rhythm, leaving a little room between us so it doesn’t feel like I’m forcing myself on her. Drake sings coolly about hot love and affection as we move in sync to the beat, our bodies brushing and grazing as the music plays on, then finally coming together in a comfortable unison. I wrap one hand around her waist as I roll my hips into hers, pressing our bodies as close as they can possibly get. Alana runs her hands up my chest and hooks her arms lightly around my neck keeping tempo with the music. She moves lithely against me, inducing my heart, thoughts, and pulse to race. Fuck, I’m drowning in want for this girl. I slide my hands up under her shirt and caress the smooth, soft skin of her lower back as she nuzzles her face into my neck, her warm breath skating across my collarbone, making me instantly hard.
Damn.
She lifts her head and meets my stare, which I know is filled with lust and unrepentantly wanton. She bites her lower lip, our bodies still jiving to the slow seductive music. In a brazen move, I slip my hand up the back of her bare thigh and cup her ass cheek under the hem of her short shorts. She gasps as I work my fingers against her, massaging the fleshy part of her bottom. I’m absolutely aching being this close to her, touching her, stroking her, grinding against her.
“Are you sure drawing is the only thing you can do better?” she pants in my ear.

Deciding that my overactive hormones were under control, I turned back toward the rest of the room but gasped as soon as I did. Stefan stood directly behind me, eyes looked up from hooded lids. The slight tension from before was almost out of control as he closed the distance between us. With each foot in my direction, I responded with a step backwards, until finally the wall stopped me. His tongue slid out over his lips making them glisten in an exceptionally tantalizing way. Not that I noticed of course, but someone might. “Is something wrong, Greyson Rose?” My name rolled off his tongue as he annunciated every syllable. “No, wh…” Deep Breath. “Why do you ask?” He took one more step closer. “You suddenly got very…” His face leaned down toward my chest, as he listened to the rapid beat against my ribs. “Jumpy.” The scent that covered every square inch of him took my senses hostage. Shivers raced up and down my spine and I tried to clear the intoxicating haze from my awareness. “I’m not.” I choked out. A mischievous grin touched his eyes and as much as I wanted to hate him for getting some sick pleasure out of what he was doing—I couldn’t. The urge to shove him back and pull him closer raged a war deep in my psyche. Stefan slowly lifted his arms and pinned the wall on either side of my shoulders. His feet stayed firmly planted but he lowered his upper body within an inch of mine. “So, last night you got me to promise I would shut down my work, at a time much earlier than I anticipated leaving. Do you remember?” “Yes,” I stuttered out. Stefan nodded, keeping his intense gaze trained on me. “Now I have something I want you to do for me.” My heart leapt into my throat and a sudden rush of heat swirled low in my belly. The heaves of my chest brushed faintly against his and each touch made my breath catch. “Wh…what’s that?” The shake of my voice became unbearable as I struggled to remain vigilant. “I just want you to answer one simple question for me.” His right hand left the wall, he held up one finger an inch from my nose. “Okay?” “You need to answer me with complete and absolute honesty. I’ll know when you’re lying to me, Greyson Rose. Will you promise to answer truthfully?” At this point I couldn’t filter my answers even if it was the difference between life and death. My tongue licked out onto my incredibly dry lips. For the first time Stefan’s eyes left mine as they focused onto my mouth. I forced down a rising groan. “I promise.”

I am Megan Noelle! I have been writing for many years and currently have two books out that are part of a series. My For You series were the first novels I published but I had to stop everything to write Stefan and Grey’s story in, A Broken Forever. I have been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen and finally pursued my dream of becoming a novelist. Writing is my passion and I am all for following one’s passions! One of my other passions is being a mom of my adorable daughter Peyton. When I’m not writing I’m a stay at home mom and a full time student. I’m getting close to finishing my 2-year degree and I am more than ready for a break. There are many things I want to do in life, but if I can write, be with my daughter and my family—I will be happy! 5 *NEW* Random Things You Don’t Know About Me! 1. I have recently retired my love for Diet Coke and focused solely on Diet Pepsi. And yes, I know all about aspartame, and all that bad stuff. But, it’s delicious. 2. I would someday love to write a book that Tim Burton wants to make into a movie! 3. I have an unfailing love for many movies I watched growing up (not just Disney) and it is very difficult for me to like anything new. Some of my favorites set the bar too high apparently! (When Harry Met Sally, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Father of the Bride Part I & II, & many more!) 4. I have a horrible wonderful addiction to book covers! 5. I have more story ideas in my head than I will ever be able to write.

I feel her presence before she wraps her arms around me, pulling me into her lap, the warmth of her arms around me, providing the solace I desperately need. I turn my face into her chest, inhaling another deep breath.  We sit on the sand, letting the rain continue to soak us to the bone.  She tightens her embrace and strokes my back, lightly kissing my temple.
“Cass,” she whispers lightly, “baby, I’m here for you.  I’m not going anywhere.”

She tightens her embrace, and I look up into her hazel eyes.  She leans forward and kisses me gently.

“I love you, Sabrina.”

“I love you too, Caston.”  Her eyes twinkle and she smiles.  She looks a little pale.

I capture her mouth in mine, sweeping my tongue along her bottom lip, nibbling lightly.  We start to deepen the kiss as another large lightning bolt strikes.  Sabrina jumps back out of our embrace, clutching her chest.  I chuckle as she gives me a look that makes me smirk.

“This storm is getting bad, Cass.  Let’s go back to the house.”

“Little bit longer, okay?  I just can’t go back in there yet.”

She nods as she let me wrap her in my arms this time.  Sabrina strokes the hair on the back of my neck, allowing me time to regain my composure.

I am a mommy of two, wife to an amazing man, and full time employee. Life is crazy and busy!  I started writing again for a group of women I met last year. They brought back the passion for writing I haven’t seen since high school. Starting this process was tedious and nerve-wracking, but my amazing ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.
