Gavin was a broken hearted cowboy from Savannah...

The one she fell for even though he tried to warn her away.

Maria’s entire life had been one rejection after another, always going after things that were just out of reach.

Gavin was no exception.

She wanted him, so desperately...

But life had a way of making things unattainable, at least for her anyway.

Just when things began to change, once again the darkness glooms, and Maria finds that her happy ending may once again be…

Unreachable.

I had to believe he came into my life for a reason. Whether to jump start my heart or crush it, there was a purpose behind our encounter.

Gavin Wyatt Tennison was a cowboy from Savannah with a broken heart. He set forth my destruction. He had never made any promises. In fact, he made it a point to tell me he wanted no ties with any woman. Not after what his wife had put him through. Nicole had destroyed him, by sleeping with his boss. A man he thought to be a friend helped destroy his marriage.

Gavin now believed faithfulness and true love were only a lie—a plan set forth only to make us feel weak right before the attack, leaving behind its wounded victim, only jagged pieces of someone who at one time was whole.

So falling for him was all my fault. I let my guard down and let him seep into my soul. Now I was the one suffering, feeling tattered and bruised. The entire situation left a god-awful taste in my mouth. An ache so deep it was impossible to reach, unable to be mended.

I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised, as it appeared to be the story of my life. After all, I was the girl whose daddy ran off, leaving her behind without thinking twice. I was the mid-life crisis baby. He had his boys, all four of them—Randall, Billy, Jacob and Colton—my brothers.

When my father left I was four; my youngest brother, at eighteen years old, had been convinced it was in his best interest to go along too.

The only two brothers I occasionally heard from were Colt, who was the youngest of the boys, and Jake, who was just shy of a year older than Colt. They lived near my dad and spent most of their time trying to please the man who has always been impossible to please. It was his way or no way, no exceptions.

My father was a mean, cold-hearted man; that was the easiest way to categorize him. He was stubborn and pigheaded and has only ever thought of himself. He never cared who he hurt along the way, as long as he had what he wanted. I was more than sure he didn’t have a compassionate fiber in his body.

Because I was the little girl that my own dad didn’t really want, Gavin’s rejection shouldn’t have been a surprise. It hurt like crazy, though. It wasn’t hard to fall for him, not hard at all. He was mighty fine to look at; those eyes of his could melt any woman’s soul. That damn adorable grin he sported made my body weak. His lips were so damn appealing—I could have dreams about them alone. In fact, I did often, and they were always some of my most favorite dreams.

It took nothing at all for him to capture me, even when he wasn’t trying. Gavin had told me from the beginning that, if anything happened between us, it would only be for fun. He refused to let me in, and I just kept hoping that one day he might.

I was just the dumb girl who thought one time with a man like him would be enough to scratch the itch.

But one time with a man like Gavin only sealed my fate. I was now, and would forever be, addicted to his touch. No one would ever be able to make me feel what he had. No one would ever give me the sense of completion the way that man had. And he wasn’t even trying; it was just uncontrollable.

From the first kiss, I knew that Gavin Tennison would only make every other man feel like a waste. He had ruined me. Although I thought I had already accomplished that on my own, I was wrong. I was so wrong.
I enjoy happy endings in my love stories. Loving those scenes that give it the needed angst and heat to keep you hooked and wanting more. Just enough drama to make her heart race and your stomach flutter. I haven't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently I have taken on a new liking and now I am addicted to Romance Novel.

I am a Limitless Publishing Author and love sharing my stories with my great fans. Feedback is great and I really enjoy interacting with my readers.
I live in Illinois and enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.
You will always find me with my kindle or paperback in hand as it is my favorite pass time.
And I never leave home without a small notebook. You never know when an idea for a new story will strike.

Book Title: More than a Memory Author: Amber Nation Genre: Contemporary Romance Release Date: January 11, 2015 Hosted by: Book Enthusiast Promotions
Synopsis
Disappearing without a word, Eden Richardt fled from her naïve former life in Oregon to start anew in the Midwest. Being a morning radio show host, she’s got a lot going for her except finding someone to share her life with. In that aspect, no one seemed to compare to the one. Having absolutely no desire to step foot back in her hometown of Cottage Grove, her decision was swayed with an invitation to her high school reunion and solidified after receiving a letter from her first and only love from her past. Living his life the best way he knows how, Baylor Jenkins spends his time running the family plumbing business, after giving up his dream to be an Architect, and raising his almost teenage daughter solely without the help of his ex-wife. In the back of his mind he knows something was missing from his otherwise enjoyable life. But that something was actually a someone who disappeared after graduation; a former best friend turned lover. Locking eyes after fifteen long years raises deep emotions and unanswered questions: What happened to make Eden run? Could their love for each other still exist? Or will their past time together be nothing more than a memory?
excerpt
“What is it that you do now that you’re all grown up?” I decided to put him in the limelight for a bit and give myself a bit of a rest.
“Who said I was all grown up?” he said in a flirty tone which earned another smile from me. “No, in all honesty, I’m actually a divorce lawyer. So while you are loved in your profession, people either dreadfully hate me or are repulsed by me.” He shrugged his shoulders. I definitely hadn’t seen that coming, Dean a divorce lawyer?
I wanted to make a little joke, but I didn’t know if he would take it the same way as he would’ve all those years ago. I decided to go ahead and take a shot. “So how many of your own divorces have you done?” I asked it in a light-hearted tone so he wouldn’t think I came across as a bitch.
“Two,” he answered flatly with not even an ounce of emotion.
“That bad, huh?”
“You could definitely say that again,” he finally cracked a smile which lowered my blood pressure rate again after he spiked it when I thought I said the wrong thing.
“You remind me of my best friend, Julia. She’s been married AND divorced twice just like you.”
His smile disappeared. What did I say?
After the questioning look I gave him, his voice lowered to a whisper which had to be lower than low since his voice was so deep, “We used to be best friends, Eden…The three musketeers, don’t you remember that?”
That was not how I wanted the conversation to end. “I’ve never forgotten, Dean. I thought of you every single day, believe it or not.”
The song was nearing the end and he gently pushed a strand of hair to the side of my face and said with a small smile, “We’ve missed you, Eden.” Not just I, but we. With the closing notes, he leaned forward and brushed his lips against my cheek, giving me the faintest of kisses. My heart broke all over again for the friend that I left behind. The friend who had nothing to do with what happened and was thrown in the middle when he was just an innocent bystander during the downward spiral of my departure. I hoped that he would someday forgive me for my naivety as I hadn’t meant for him to get burned in the crossfire.

Eden Teaser[1]

Eden and Baylor should have been together in High School. They were so close to having everything they ever wanted until someone stepped in and changed everything. Years later, with both of them having moved on and Eden also away, fate intervenes in the form of a daughter wanting her father to have what he has always wanted....

This was a great story. It gave you just enough of every component to make a good, well rounded love story. Misunderstanding, jealousy, fate, a kiss never forgotten, a plumber and some pancakes....yeah, just read it. I really enjoyed it, liked the way Amber tied in her other series, The Brown County Series, and of course, the way it ended wasn't too shabby either ;) Highly recommended for those who like to fall and believe in love that is meant to be.
4.5 stars.

Cover Reveal for Z-Radio

Author: Candy O’Donnell

Title: Z-Radio Book 1

Series: A Zombie Apocalypse Novelette Series

Genre: Horror

Release Date: 1-17-15

Publishing House: Kingsnake Publishing

Synopsis:

My life will never be the same again! My entire existence changed when the Zombie Apocalypse started. I was bitten and thought my life was going to end at the radio station. My name is Cherise, and there are people out there that want me dead!

Excerpt:

Greg punched it and I was thrown to the ground when I lost my grip on the tailgate. A few zombies took advantage of this situation, and while I fought with all my might, they were overwhelming me quicker than I could fight. Inside my head, I felt my time on earth was through. Darren cried for Greg to stop as he fired a shot at one about to take a hunk out of my arm. I was on my feet and hurrying after the truck when one came out of nowhere and bit down on my leg. I screamed in pain and was pulled into the truck by Darren. His eyes revealed what needed to be done, and I did not try to talk him out of keeping his distance. The vehicle took off over the grass as fast as Greg could go. We slid to one side then to the other, and all the while my body began to feel different. I knew what was taking place and could do nothing to stop it. I felt everyone’s eyes upon me as stinging tingles coursed throughout my body. It felt like an unstoppable freight train was about to reach its destination. This was it and I knew it.   ***   I was propped up against the off-white wall of the radio station, where I felt death would take me. I knew I was going to die, and soon. There was nothing more that could be done for me. My will to live was strong, but it was fading fast. Five strangers stood over me, mulling over when I would need a bullet to the brain. The bite wound on my leg caused my body to convulse, severely. The male that was in the tree with us had already been put out of his misery. I rolled my eyes and stared at his sheet-covered body. A blanket had been laid over him after the gunshot split his cranium in two. Soon, it would be my turn. I watched as his deceased body was dragged down the dirty, alabaster tile to the rear of the radio station. That was a sight I’d never forget; the vision was burned into my brain. It was what happened to those that turned. I now knew that a simple bite could transform a human into a flesh eater. “Will I die, Darren?” I questioned the man sitting across from me holding the shotgun. His hand was on the trigger and his eyes were staring past me. “I don’t know, Cherise. From where I’m standing, I’d say yes. I am praying for you, girl.” He shook his head as I slid to the cold floor, where I felt its icy chill upon my cheek. It felt nice to feel something, anything. I could also feel what was taking place inside my body. It felt horrible and I could not push the stop button even though I wanted to.
