Title: Protecting Her
Author:  Alexis Noelle

I don’t do love. Hearts, flowers, dates, girlfriends, it’s all pointless. Why tie yourself down to one person when you can have a different one every night. Sure there have been a few that have intrigued me but none ever made me think about hanging around. No one ever haunted my thoughts after I left.

Until Her.

I just wanted one night of freedom. A chance to live without prying, judging eyes. When I met him, the moment he first touched me, it’s like I was hypnotized. I got caught up in the moment and made a mistake, I never thought he would be so cold after it. No one has ever made me feel that way.

Until him.

Hunter Stone never imagined when he was assigned to guard one of the world’s up and coming stars that she would be the girl he used the night before. Now he has to be around her and make sure that she’s safe. Samantha Baker has been receiving anonymous threats, the last person she expected to walk through the door was the man that dismissed her the night before. Now she has to deal with his arrogant attitude on a daily basis, while she is still infatuated with him.

When you push love away will you be able to recognize it when it’s right in front of your face? Or will everything be ripped away before you get the chance to really live?

REVIEW

First Alexis Noelle read and definitely not my last. This story had a jerky leading man who turned into a swoon worthy leading man, a strong female lead who I loved from the very start, some sex, some drama, a little intrigue and suspense. It was a great, well rounded, fast paced read easily devoured in one sitting and worthy of five stars. Highly recommend!

Book Trailer Reveal: Surviving Brooklyn by Elizabeth York - June 15, 2015

Title: Surviving Brooklyn
Series: Brooklyn #1
Author: Elizabeth York
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: May 15, 2015

Brooklyn Montgomery, daughter of a well-known criminal, just moved into a new apartment. She needed to be closer to downtown because she landed her dream job of becoming an assistant District attorney. Little does she know that the reason for her new job is because a killer is raining down on New York City. The killer is taking out anyone who looks like her, including the last A.D.A., and covering their bodies with thousands of forget-me-nots. Is this a clue to catching the killer or does the killer want to lead Brooklyn to her demise?

Mark Stone, Brooklyn’s childhood friend, is the lead detective in the city. He has been handed the case, but has a limited window until the FBI takes over. While he hunts to find the killer he guards Brooklyn with his life. He knows she has feelings for him, but can the past be overlooked so they can be together after they catch the killer? What happens if they can’t stop the killer in time? Will he catch the killer and capture her heart, or will the final victim be the one he wanted all along, Brooklyn?

I opened to him, and he pressed his body against mine, inhaling the moan that left my lips. All five of my senses were being overloaded by him. I could no longer hear anything but the rapid beating of my heart. I tasted coffee and whipped cream on his tongue as I inhaled his manly sandalwood scent. I looked into his eyes when he pulled away. My body burned with the need to touch him everywhere.

“Tell me no,” Mark whispered as he dropped to his knees. I watched in fascination while he untied the bow on my drawstring shorts. I shivered as I watched him pull down my shorts, exposing a pair of black lace underwear.

Up and coming author Elizabeth York has been writing for about seven years. Located in the southeast, she spends her days drinking sweet tea on the porch with her laptop in hand. She has devoted her life to her family and her books. With the loss of her Father to cancer in 2010 she makes "Dear Daddy" dedication pages in each book and donates 10% royalties to cancer research.
Take the time to get to know the characters and you will love them as much as she does.

"This has to be one of the best new indie books out there. Elizabeth York packs a punch and delivers an awesome tale of suspense, mystery, anguish and love. Her characters are well written and the story grips you from the start, you won't want to put it down. Hold on for a helluva ride, because York delivers!" ~ Swoon Worthy Books

Cover Reveal: DASH (The Novel) by Shantel Tessier

Title: DASH (The Novel)
Author: Shantel Tessier
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: June 30, 2015
I’ve never been one to follow the rules…or the law, for that matter. But when you find yourself behind bars and being offered the opportunity of a lifetime, you take it. I agreed to race motorcycles for Johnny Knight. A very powerful man who wanted me on his team, even knowing I was a liability. But will he still feel that way once he finds out that I had a one-night stand with his daughter? I didn’t mean for it to happen. I didn’t even know who she was until she walked into his office wearing my shirt from the night before. Too bad that was all she wanted—one night. It didn’t really matter who she was, I wanted more. So when she ran, I followed. I should have let her go. That would have been best for both of us. But I have never done what was right, so why start now? I’ve always been willing to take a risk, no matter what it would cost me. And I knew she was worth it all.

I’m Erik Dashling; you can call me Dash. This is my story of how I willingly risked one dream for another. But everyone knows that not all dreams come true.

“Hello ma’am,” he says trying to sound formal. He stretches his hand out to me with a cocky smile on his sexy face.

“Hello,” I say narrowing my eyes on him and cross my arms over my chest. It’s a little late for formalities.

He takes his hand that’s stretched out in front of him and lifts it up to my hair. He pulls back and has a leaf between his fingers.

He chuckles. “Gardening? Looks like you’ve been rolling around in the grass.”

Motherfucker.

He knows. Shit! I didn’t think to look for any video cameras around his gate. I’m sure he has them.

His smirks grows as if he knows what I’m thinking.

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Dashling.” I nod my head.

He gets a cocky look on his face and his eyes sparkle. “Please. Call me, Dash.”

Oh, now the shirt I’m wearing makes sense.

I nod my head once and spin around to face my father. “I need to go shower and then get home. I have homework to do,” I lie. “Excuse me,” I mumble and walk out of the office and start down the hall when I hear Erik speak to my father.

“Will you excuse me, sir?”

As I’m nearing the stairs, I feel a hand on my upper arm. “What the…”

I’m pulled into the hallway and pressed up against the wall. Before I can speak his hands are on my face and his lips are on mine.

I try to fight it, try to push him away, but instead my arms make their way around his neck. My body is still sore as hell from last night. And my pussy has been wet all morning. Although I can’t remember what all he did, my body sure as hell can. His kiss is slow and sweet. He takes his time as his tongue makes long strokes.

He pulls away and a moan slips past my lips. “You taste as good as I remember,” he mumbles. “Like candy.”

I don’t say anything as I stare into his eyes. He gives me a warm smile. “You left this morning without saying goodbye.”

“If I remember correctly, we never really said hello,” I whisper.

He chuckles. “You’re correct.” He leans back into me. “Hello,” he whispers, sending chills down my body.

“Hello,” I answer breathlessly.

“I have something you might like,” he says with a smirk on his face.

“I’m pretty sure I liked it,” I respond still feeling the aftereffects from last night.“Pretty sure?” he frowns. “Well, I will have to remind you of how much you liked it later.” He runs his fingers down the side of my cheek. “You screamed my name so loud my ears are still ringing.” I inhale sharply. He lowers his face to mine and runs the tip of his nose down the side of my face. “You fucking loved every bit of it, darling,” he growls.
