Review

Wow, what a book. Talk about happy ending with a few ups and downs. 

I loved that not ever chapter was about Jack and Leila, it makes you get to know all the characters even more than you did in Back-Up and Centre Stage. Again, still loved all the boys! Sweet, sweet Evan :) still loving, but sexy Trey... Looking forward to his book. 

I love the connection between Jack and Leila, they were simply made for each other. Jack being Jack is still overprotective and gets even more protective and overbearing when they find out that their little DL family will expand. Jack was so sweet and sexy during the months leading up to the arrival. He did everything for his beautiful wife he was the perfect husband and dad-to-be. 

The banter among the band was amazing and had me laughing so hard. 
I was happy to see Evan and Lizzy get their HEA, as well as Lori and Matt. Even after her mental breakdown, thanks to Mr Taylor, she saw the light and knew who her heart belonged too.

Everyone got their happily ever after except Trey, now that will be an intense, epic story

I began writing music and poetry at an early age. My love of music became my sole focus, and I spent quite a few years as the lead singer for many local rock bands. In high school, I was fascinated with the macabre and started writing science fiction and horror stories so dark they earned me the nickname "Gory Cory."

After years of writing dark tales, I never thought in a million years my first two finished manuscripts would be Adult Romance.

I am a devout vegan as well as an animal lover. I collect antique weapons and crosses(I still have that dark-side).

What a sweet and heartfelt story. I liked Ava and Cody from the beginning, they seemed to connect straight away, it was sweet. Cody is sweet and respectful with a hint of "wanna be bad boy". Ava knew what she wanted in life but her sucky boss forced her hand and she ended up losing her job. 

The part in this story when Cody handed Ava her note telling her she is beautiful. *Swoon* made me love Cody! and boy, was I shocked by Cody's confession of his age, bless him. I was hoping that the age gap(note that by the way) wouldn't affect Ava's decision to do a some-what 'bucket list' that summer. I love the things that were on the list and I loved the way Cody and Ava's friendship grew into a relationship. The way that Ava was bringing out the lust in our sweet innocent Cody, awesome.

A tissue warning should have been given for the way this book ended. I know there was something up with Cody by the way he held certain things back but I wasn't expecting what happened. (Insert heartbreak)

And there we saw the sunset.

My mouth dropped open as a blaze of red and orange burned the sky, setting the mesa alight in an astonishing display of nature or God or some deity more powerful, older, more mesmerizing than anything I had seen.

I think I gasped, and clutched Cody’s arm, our silence more meaningful than any words could have been. A deep stillness filled me as I watched the cycle of day to night, as the earth turned. I started writing contemporary romance two years ago. Before that, I didn’t think I could write a sex scene. Turns out I can!

My lucky number is 13 because I was born on the 13th and live near a haunted castle by the ocean. My number one past-time is watching hot surfers get changed into (and out of) their wetsuits.

My husband doesn’t read my books. My mother does.

Writing is my love, my hobby, my total addiction. All my characters are important to me and whisper their stories, even when I’ve finished writing their books. This is such a sweet story. Meet wild party girl Roxy, she loves to work hard and parties harder. Until she sees Kade, a quiet, shy guy she sees as a challenge as he isn't her usual type. 
Kade isn't used to having women like Roxy throw themselves at him but fair play to him he handles her very well and they click. This sweet and loveable story has some pretty hot sex scenes :-) which to be honest made Kade look even better if you ask me, sweet, sexy and a freaking surfer. HOT! 

They click and they embark on their new journey together but life gets in the way and they drift apart, Kade being the gentleman he is ends it and turns Roxy's world upside down. 
Talk about a text cliffy..... Looking forward to 'Healing My Heart' to see what happened to Roxy and Kade.
