Mariska “Take off your top.” He gave the low order, and I obeyed it. My top was off in an instant, and I stood before him in only my bra and panties. “Braid your hair.” Blinking, I wasn’t sure where this was going, but I pulled the length over my shoulder and without breaking our intense eye contact, I started weaving my wavy locks into a thick rope over my shoulder. “Bra.” I reached around and unfastened it. The straps tickled my hypersensitive skin as they fell down my arms. The entire garment fluttered to the floor, and his eyes broke from mine to study my body. I couldn’t breathe. Reaching out, he cupped the bottom of my breast and slid his thumb across a tightening nipple. The rough touch of his palm against my delicate skin, the circling of his thumb around my straining buds. Hungry eyes darkened as he watched my body respond to him. Heat pulsed deep between my thighs. My breath hitched then became shallow and fast. I had no idea what he’d do next. I didn’t expect him to turn and go to the bed. He climbed onto it and leaned against the headboard, eyes fixed on mine. I wanted to look down, to gaze at all of him, but I couldn’t. “Remove your panties.” His voice had changed, but it still commanded. I only hesitated a moment before catching the thin sides around my thumbs and pushing them down. Standing before him completely nude, I couldn’t stop a shiver. My arms crossed over my stomach, and I tried to cover myself. “Stop.” He spoke sharply. “Don’t cover yourself.” His eyes raked over me in a look so predatory I felt it on my skin. I looked at him as well. His powerful, lined body was tense, ready, and his erection rose up his belly. Thick and long, I shivered at the size of it. Nothing like that had ever been inside me, still I ached for it. “Come to me.” It was a lusty whisper speaking words I’d longed to hear since before I’d flown across the country. I crawled up the bed, but just as I reached his waist, he stopped me. “Do you want this?” “Yes.” My voice was only a little shaky. “I want be inside you, but first I want to be in your mouth.” Moisture pooled between my thighs. I’d never been with a man who made demands, who told me exactly what he wanted and expected me to deliver, but it only intensified my feelings for him. I leaned down to follow instructions, but he stopped me. “I want to taste you as well. I want to hear you come before I sink between your thighs.” My brow must have lined because the slightest grin softened his stern face. He pulled me against his chest, and warm breath drifted across my cheek as he spoke to me. “Beautiful Mariska.” Hands in my hair, he consumed my mouth. A moan ached from my chest and was lost in him. Strong fingers tightened against my skull, holding me forcefully, taking no prisoners. I moaned again as he pulled my lip between his teeth before pillaging my mouth once more. I held his wrists, my head light. In that moment, he pushed me back against the bed. Stunned, my eyes blinked open, and I tried to get my bearings. It was all happening so fast. He sat back on his heels and gripped my thighs, pulling my hips to his mouth. He gave me one slow, lingering look before licking his tongue from the top of my clit all the way down to my opening, wet and throbbing. “Oh, god! Stuart!” I cried, flexing my ass in his hands. I was so close, I would come for him fast. He didn’t stop, tracing his tongue back again and slowly circling that small, powerful bud. I whimpered as he repeated the figure eight pattern, circling and sucking until I saw stars.

Blog Tour for Never Giving Up (The Never #3) by Anie Michaels

Title: Never Giving Up
Series: The Never #3
Author: Anie Michaels
Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 29, 2014
Porter Masters wants nothing more than just to marry his love, Ella.

Ella Sinclair dreams of the day she can call Porter her husband and wants nothing more than to give him a family.

They have overcome many deep and dark obstacles and are finally ready to enjoy their “happily ever after.” The dream they share of marriage and a family, all hang in the balance as they encounter one more obstacle from their past that could ruin everything they have. With more on the line than ever before, Porter will stop at nothing to protect Ella – at all costs.

The past year fighting for their love can’t even compare to the fight they have ahead of them.

With their future happiness at risk, one thing remains true: they are never giving up.
I leaned into him, resting my forehead against his chest, soaking up every ounce of calm that being near him offered. “I’m finally strong enough to fight this on my own. I need you for so many things, Porter. I need you to love me, and make me laugh, and be a father to our child, and comfort me, and to build me beautiful houses, and to take me on picnics.” I looked up at him, using my eyes to beg him to trust me in this. “But tomorrow, I can fight that battle by myself. In fact, I need to. I want to. And I’m going to win.” He used one of his big, strong, callused hands to sweep my hair behind my ear, and then his gentle hand cupped the side of my face.
“I’m so proud of you,” he whispered, his words caressing my face, opening up my soul, and hiding inside my heart. He pulled me into him again and I smiled against his chest. I felt his hand drop to the small of my back while the other cradled my head against him. I breathed him in again, loving what his embrace could do to me. “I am so proud of you,” he repeated, even quieter and closer to my ear. Only I could hear him. I felt as if it were a gift he was giving me. His pride. There were a few things I knew in life to be true – undoubtedly, one-hundred-percent, absolute truths. I knew that Porter loved me. I knew that we were supposed to be together. I knew he supported me, wanted me, cherished me, and appreciated me. But to hear him say he was proud of me was fulfilling in a soul-lifting kind of way.
I took his praise and I felt it inside of me, lighting me up. But his sentiment only mirrored what I already felt inside.
I was proud of myself.

Anie Michaels started writing her first book in June of 2013 and since has managed to make it a full-time career. She spends her days in coffee shops imagining the lives of her fictional characters and then goes home to be a mother and wife; her other full-time career. Anie lives in Portland, Oregon, where some of her books are set, and wouldn't live anywhere else. When she isn't writing or taking care of her small children she spends her free time with her close friends and family. She loves beer and wine (a requirement went living in Oregon), and wishes she had more time for television because sometimes it's nice to look at attractive men instead of imagining them all the time.

Cover Reveal of The Traveling Man (Traveling #1) by Jane Harvey-Berrick

Title: The Traveling Man
Series: Traveling #1
Author: Jane Harvey-Berrick
Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 27, 2015

Cover Designer: Hang Le
I was ordinary. Nice. He was extraordinary. And he wasn’t always nice.
Moody and difficult, brilliant and beautiful, Kes scared me and he protected me. He could be incredibly hurtful and incredibly thoughtful. He wasn’t perfect, but he was perfect for me. He challenged me, he took me out of my safe little box and showed me the world could be magnificent. He was everything I wasn’t.

Aimee Anderson is ten when the traveling carnival first comes to her nice little town. She doesn’t expect her world to change so completely. But meeting Kestrel Donohue puts her life on a different path.
Even though she only sees him for the two weeks of the year when he passes through her home town, his friendship is the most important of her life. As a child’s friendship grows to adult love, the choices become harder, and both Kes and Aimee realize that two weeks a year will never be enough.

I started writing contemporary romance two years ago. Before that, I didn’t think I could write a sex scene. Turns out I can!

My lucky number is 13 because I was born on the 13th and live near a haunted castle by the ocean. My number one past-time is watching hot surfers get changed into (and out of) their wetsuits.

My husband doesn’t read my books. My mother does.

Writing is my love, my hobby, my total addiction. All my characters are important to me and whisper their stories, even when I’ve finished writing their books. That’s why you’ll often find bonus chapters/out-takes from various books, because those voices just won’t be quiet.

REVIEW

This was my first Slaon Johnson read and now will NOT be my last. I do not read a lot of M/M because every few authors can make it hot enough or real enough to keep me interested and now joining the ranks of those that CAN with Kindle Alexander, Nicole Edwards and Ella Frank, is Sloan Johnson.

The heat was immediate between Tony and Dominic and the car ride to NY in a snow storm undoubtedly melted all the snow in their path. ;) When they part ways not on very good terms, thanks to a phone call that leaves a bad impression, one has to wonder if this is it for the two of them or if they will meet again....

Without giving anymore away, I will just say, this is a great read, plenty of heat, passion and a storyline that will keep you reading. I give it 5 stars and encourage everyone to give it a read!

So much for never seeing one another again. Had I known that I was going to see Dominic this weekend, I might have tried harder to make things right with him Thursday night. If I’d realized the Cara he mentioned was marrying his college roommate was my sister, who I’ve always called Caroline, I wouldn’t have touched him no matter how much I wanted to. Actually, that’s probably not true, because he’s damn fine and I’m not stupid enough to pass up an opportunity when it presents itself. But I definitely wouldn’t have walked away until I knew that neither of us had any regrets.
I trip over my feet as I follow the rest of the groomsmen into the front of the cathedral, my attention focused on the man sitting next to Mr. and Mrs. Rossi, looking like he’s just been scolded.
Dominic was gorgeous the night we met, but now, he’s downright breathtaking. I take my place in line and, because God has a twisted sense of humor, I’m going to be stuck knowing that Dominic is directly behind me for the next hour and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.
As we wait for what seems like forever for all of Caroline’s bridesmaids to make the mile-long trek to the front of the cathedral, I try to catch Kennedy’s attention. Thursday night, I told her everything. After telling her about the sexy-as-fuck scene in the truck, I went on to tell her how much it annoyed me that Dominic and I parted on bad terms. She agreed with Dominic that there was no need to feel anything since we’d never see one another again. When Kennedy finally makes eye contact with me, I nod ever so slightly to my left and watch as her eyes threaten to bug out of her head. “Oh, my God. Is that him?” she mouths. I nod subtly. “Are you going to talk to him?” she asks. I shrug, and catch the attention of my older brother, who is standing directly behind me.
“Anthony, quit talking to your girlfriend,” he hisses. “Caroline needs you to make her the priority for the next hour, then you can run off and find a quiet corner to do whatever it is the two of you do.” I close my eyes tightly before glancing at Dominic, finally realizing that he probably thinks the same thing I’ve led most of my family to believe all these years. The urge to elbow Peter in the gut to show him exactly what I think of his comment is strong, but I’ve already made enough of a scene. If he noticed, I’m sure other people have as well. And sure enough, Dominic is now glaring at me. He looks across the aisle and his entire body stiffens when he notices Kennedy sitting with my family. I need this wedding to hurry the fuck up so I can get a drink.
The music changes and everyone stands and turns to see Caroline and our father walking down the aisle. I take the opportunity to admire the way Dominic’s suit jacket hangs off his shoulders. The subtle pinstripes act as beacons, drawing my eye down to his narrow hips, and suddenly I’m standing in the cathedral with a semi, thinking about the tight ass beneath those perfectly tailored pants. Go straight to Hell. Do not pass Go, do not collect two-hundred dollars.

Sloan Johnson is a big city girl trapped in a country girl’s life. While she longs for the hustle and bustle of New York City or Las Vegas, she hasn’t yet figured out how to sit on the deck with her morning coffee, watching the deer and wild turkeys in the fields while surrounded by concrete and glass.

When she was three, her parents received their first call from the principal asking them to pick her up from school. Apparently, if you aren’t enrolled, you can’t attend classes, even in Kindergarten. The next week, she was in preschool and started plotting her first story soon after.

Later in life, her parents needed to do something to help their socially awkward, uncoordinated child come out of her shell and figured there was no better place than a bar on Wednesday nights. It’s a good thing they did because this is where she found her love of reading and writing. Who needs socialization when you can sit alone in your bedroom with a good book?

Now, Sloan is a tattooed mom with a mohawk and two kids. She’s been kicked out of the PTA in two school districts and is no longer asked to help with fundraisers because she’s been known to lose herself with a good book and forget she has somewhere to be.
