Cover Reveal for A Restored Man (The Men of Halfway House #3) by Jaime Reese

Title: A Restored Man
Series: The Men of Halfway House #3
Author: Jaime Reese
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 17, 2015
Cole Renzo thinks his greatest challenge is to behave for the remainder of his term at Halfway House. Until he meets his new boss, Ty Calloway, a man who ticks off every box on Cole's list of interests.

A sought-after restorer and customizer of exotic and collectible cars, Ty had enough confidence to command what he wanted in life, until one fateful night changed everything. Almost two years later, he’s slowly rebuilding his life with great control. He's defied the odds and works tirelessly to be the man he once was—but he still feels broken.

Cole’s candor and unfiltered personality awaken Ty’s barely-remembered desire to greet each new day with a smile, while Ty’s unwavering acceptance of Cole’s quirks and brash humor makes Cole feel as if he fits in for the first time in far too long. When a nemesis threatens Ty’s personal restoration and the things he holds dear, Cole is determined to protect their relationship, even if that means sacrificing everything he’s worked so hard to achieve.

But Ty will have to let his guard down, surrender control, and admit he needs Cole first, even if that puts himself at risk of breaking beyond repair.
“Excuse me,” Ty said, before making his way to the kitchen. He poked his head inside and saw Cole bent over on the left hand side, searching for, then finding, a pan in the bottom drawer of the cabinet. He couldn’t help the smile that tugged at his lips when he saw Spider-Man peeking out from the top of Cole’s jeans.
“I told you to get out. You’re not fucking this up,” Cole said, his back still turned to Ty.
Ty smiled, leaned up against the doorframe and waited.
Cole looked over his shoulder, a huge smile immediately spreading across his face. “Hey, you,” he said, straightening.
Ty walked over to him and wrapped an arm around Cole’s waist. He reached out and brushed his thumb against Cole’s cheek, his hand finally steadying once he grazed Cole’s warm skin.
“That’s a big smile,” Cole said.
“I saw Spider-Man,” Ty said, chuckling.
Cole raised an eyebrow and wrapped his arms around Ty’s waist. “If I had known he turned you on that much, I would have worn a blue and red onesie to the shop under my work clothes.”
Ty bit back a smile. He tugged on Cole’s T-shirt. “You look good out of your shop clothes.”
Cole pulled Ty closer. “I look good out of these clothes too,” he said, waggling his eyebrows.
Ty reached up and ran his finger along the edge of Cole’s beanie. “Do you ever take this off?”
“When you sleep with me, you can take it off.”
Ty looked into the mismatched eyes that held a wealth of mischief. “I’m not sleeping with you.”
Cole pulled Ty into a kiss, gripping his hair, unmistakably guiding him exactly where he wanted Ty to be. Ty’s heart pounded relentlessly against his chest, his body betraying his last spoken words and demanding more contact. His fingers twisted the edge of Cole’s jeans, drawing him in, craving the closeness of Cole’s thick, hard body.
Cole withdrew, the desire unmistakably still burning in his eyes. “Yes, you will,” he said. “You won’t be able to resist this much awesomeness for long.”
Ty bit his lip, trying to hide a smile. He liked it when Cole got feisty.
Cole ran the tip of his finger down Ty’s neck, then tugged at the collar of Ty’s polo shirt. “Aww, you didn’t dress up for me,” he said with an exaggerated pout. “Will I ever see you in a suit?”
“Why do you want to see me in a suit?”
“Seriously? You'd look hot in a suit. I'd probably want to rip it off.”
“So what's the point of wearing the suit?” Ty asked, tugging Cole closer.
“Foreplay.”
Ty burst into laughter and touched his forehead to Cole’s. “You’re impossible.”
“You should do that more often.”
“What's that? Foreplay?”
“Laugh.” Cole smiled. “And wear suits. But I would totally be on board with foreplay, too,” he finished, waggling his eyebrows.

*REVIEW* for Thicker Than Blood by Madeline Sheehan and Claire C. Riley

10754834_10205320148704901_502287080_n
A true friendship never dies.
Leisel and Evelyn lost everything. Husbands. Families. Friends. Lives that made sense. All they had left was each other, and a friendship that could withstand anything…
Even an apocalypse.
Until one fateful night, the marginal safety they’d come to rely on comes to a vicious and brutal end. With the help of Alex & Jami, both unlikely allies, Leisel and Evelyn are able to escape their shattered sanctuary only to find themselves face-to-face with a much altered, much crueler life where they have to find the way—and the will—to stay alive in a world they no longer recognize.
Traveling across a broken and infection-ridden country; the road-weary group are pitted against endless violence, improbable circumstances, and the ultimate loss. Everything comes at a price—especially safety, the cost of which could very well strip them of the one thing they’ve tried so hard to cling to: their humanity.
Yet along with all the trials they’re forced to endure, there’s also hope in the form of love. Having loved Leisel from afar, Alex attempts to put the pieces of her fractured heart back together.
But in such a savage world, is there room for love?
In a place of nightmares-made-reality, where the living should be feared far more than the dead, an unbreakable friendship and a love amongst all odds can mean the difference between life and death.
There are friends…
And then there are Leisel and Evelyn.

REVIEW
by Ashley Suzanne for Eye Candy Bookstore
What a ride.  I must admit, I’ve been a fan of Madeline Sheehan since I was first introduced to Deuce and the rest of the boys.  Then I willingly followed her to her Holy Trinity series where I instantly fell in love with Xan and Gerik.  When I found out she was writing something else, I jumped around like a maniac.  It’s fair to say that if Madeline writes it, I’m reading it.  Grocery list, address book, posts on Facebook … I’m a Sheehan junkie.  Not only has Madeline filled the void I feel each time I get to read one of her amazing masterpieces, she also introduced me to another fantastic writer, Claire Riley.
Sheehan and Riley transport you to another world in Thicker than Blood, giving you a glimpse of society after everything crumbles.  Fight or flight.  Nature vs nurture.  Trying to stay alive in a world you’re not sure if you’re really wanting to live in.  Both writers effortlessly transition you between two points of view, and at times the writers were so fluid, I wasn’t sure who was writing what.  It was amazing.
Thicker than Blood proves that sometimes a girl just needs her best friend.  A post apocalyptic love story of the truest form, these two women, determined to make it through this new, scary world together, never willing to give each other up.
I’m honored to have been given an advanced copy of this novel and can’t wait for the sequel.  The amazing story telling with such detail that I could see the entire tale playing in my head like a movie reel has transplanted itself into my top reads of all time and the best book I’ve read all year.
5 stars isn’t enough for this book.  I want to give it more.

Page by page, Sheehan and Riley weave you into a world that seems so realistic you’ll question if it’s in fact fiction.  With characters that will stay with you long after you’ve finished the last page, Thicker than Blood will easily find itself on your favorite reads of 2015.  Captivating, frightening and moving, this story of a bond built to withstand even the toughest elements is a true piece of literary genius.

Angel Payne

Hi there. I'm Angel: book lover, writing addict, hopeless romantic, pop culture geek and avid shoe lover. **I have a monthly newsletter now! Sign up for it right here: http://eepurl.com/LoNkz. It's a cool way to get exclusive info, talk hot heroes, learn about new items in the Angel Payne store, talk hot heroes, further the pie or cake debate...and oh yeah, did I mention talking hot heroes? A bit about me... I've been hooked on books since I was a kid but it got worse in my twenties, when I discovered romances--the hotter, the better. Growing up in Southern California, with lots of surfer manliness surrounded me, was certainly a good boost for reading about delicious alpha guys and the women who adore them. When I learned I had a knack for telling these stories too, I guess you could say I was doomed--though my path toward romance novelist took a few detours via a concert-reviewing gig for my college newspaper (free show tickets...backstage passes...that was a no-brainer), artist interviews for a Beverly Hills dance music mag, personal assistant work for a record producer, dance club disc jockey, and a lot of fun in the hospitality industry. These days, I still live in California, and have found an amazing alpha guy of my own who was brave enough to marry me. We live on a street that looks like Brigadoon, with our beautiful daughter. I have the best life ever, and never forget to thank the Big Guy Upstairs for it, either.

MILF Teaser #1
Excerpt
She shuts the door and turns to face me, the pleasant expression from a few moments ago wiped away as she stands with one hand on her cocked hip. "You want to tell me what your problem is?"
"What are you talking about?" I reply coolly, knowing exactly what she's talking about.
"Earlier this afternoon. Just now. You were all but a jerk to Jonathan, who if you didn't notice is someone I kinda want to impress to get this painting thing started." She closes the distance between us and presses her fingertip in my chest, her bright blue eyes even more striking than normal as they glow with a fiery intensity. "I need this, Gray."
I'm not sure what inside me snaps, but something about the way she says the word ‘need’, combines with the passionate pleading look on her face, and suddenly, I have an overwhelming eagerness to show her exactly what she needs.
My lips slam down on hers as my hands cradle her jaw, tilting her face up to mine. Caught entirely off guard, she opens her mouth, probably to protest, but I quiet her immediately with my tongue, darting it in between her parted lips.
The sound of her purse and keys crashing to the wood floor echoes through the entryway as she raises her hands to my chest, palms splayed against my bare skin. But surprisingly, and much to my delight, instead of pushing me away, she uses my body as leverage to kiss me back.
My hands slide around behind her neck, tangling in the loose hairs that've fallen free from her twist thing, while her nails dig into my flesh, demanding more from my mouth. With urgent swipes of our tongues, our lips mold together in a claiming, lust-driven kiss neither of us can resist.
The soft whimper she elicits into my mouth as my hands fall down her back and lands just above her ass fuels me to push further. Backing her up against the front door, our mouths never losing contact, I reach up under her dress, grab ahold of her firm cheeks, and lift her up off the ground. Her legs instinctively wrap around my hips, causing her skirt to hike up around her waist, leaving the thin, lacy fabric of her panties the only barrier between her hot pussy and my lower abdomen she's pressed against.
And it's fucking on fire.
"Gray," she pants, her fingers twisting in my dark hair. "We can't—"
Her voice hitches as I boldly snake one hand around to her front and swipe my thumb lightly between her legs. At my faint touch, she arches back and squeezes her legs tightly around me, her body begging for more.
I drop my face into her neck and nuzzle the smooth skin below her ear. "We can't what?" I whisper hoarsely as I brush my fingers across her heat again, this time allowing it to linger a tiny bit longer. "Do this?" My rock-hard dick, which is barely harnessed by the thin sleep pants, is positioned perfectly under her ass, so I thrust upwards, making her gasp loudly. "Or this?"
She tugs roughly on my hair and forces my face back to hers, drawing my bottom lip between her teeth and sucking hard. My hand cups her sex, the flimsy material now soaked with her arousal, and she sucks in a ragged breath.
"Any of it," she murmurs while kissing across my jaw and shamelessly grinding down on my palm. "We can't do any of it, but I can't stop it either."
"Fuck, Mia. Me neither," I growl, dipping a finger under her panties and feeling her silky, slick skin against mine. "I need these off."
She nods without hesitation and I rip them from her body with one forceful tear, then toss them to the floor. My fingers return to her, tenderly caressing her swollen lower lips, but the smell of her excitement is too much for me to resist. I need more.
Lowering her feet to the floor, I kiss her hard before dropping to my knees, licking my lips as I take her all in. With one swipe of my tongue across her smoldering center, I realize I’m in more trouble than I initially thought. She fucking tastes even better than she smells, and I’m drowning in my desire.
The sound of a car engine pulling into the driveway forces us both to freeze in place, our eyes locked on one another as we both struggle to catch our breath. The subsequent closing of a car door and footsteps towards the front porch send us on a mad dash up the stairs and into our own rooms, just in time before the front door opens and my best friend makes his way inside.

  Review

Let's face it- I'm a HUGE Erin Noelle fan. She has a way of sucking you in to a story with her poetic written story lines that I almost forget what I'm even reading about. This book didn't disappoint once again.

Mia feels like her life is over the moment she finds her husband is leaving her for another woman.. And not just any other woman- a friend. Her son's best friend's mother to make matters worse. When everything you've known for years is ripped from you, where do you even begin to pick up the pieces? Mia throws herself into her work and working out, leaving her looking better than she has in years.

Grayson is just back from Spain and dealing with his Mother getting married is not really in the list of things he wants to do. Especially when she is marrying his best friend's Dad and from that caused his best friend's family to be ripped apart.

When Adam invites his best friend Grayson to stay at his house- Mia completely understands and sympathizes agreeing it is not a problem. What she didn't expect was for the first time in years, to have that undeniable connection .. to her son's best friend.

How can something SO wrong make you feel so right?

Hiding their taboo relationship isn't an easy task but for the first time in a long time- Mia feels alive. Knowing that eventually they have to end their love affair- Mia and Gray quickly realize there is nothing taboo about their feelings but how do you explain that to a world that is so quick to judge and so eager to never forget?

Lines are blurred. What's wrong becomes right and somewhere along the way you realize- Love is Love.

4.5 stars and kudos to another amazing Erin Noelle novel <3 nbsp="" span="">
