I am embarrassed to say this was my first read by Nicole Edwards and my first time meeting the Walker brothers and boy, what an introduction! I have to tell you, I am a sucker for a cowboy and these guys have it all. Sawyer is amazing and I fell for him hard from the first chapter. This is part of the Alluring Indulgence series but, can be read as a standalone.
When Kennedy Endsley comes back to town, Sawyer Walker is blown away; she definitely isn’t same girl that went away after high school. As part owner of an Adult Resort he is use to living playboy life, but this one girl makes him want to more. Kennedy has a hard time forgetting the way Sawyer treated her in high school and with him owning a “sex club” and being the town playboy, she wants nothing to do with him. But really, how long can she resist the charms of this loveable, sexy cowboy?
I loved Sawyer’s cowboy swagger and persistence with Kennedy. Their chemistry, even when she was fighting it, was off the charts. Their back and forth kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. The family aspect of this book was amazing, I loved the whole Walker clan and the father/daughter moments between Sheriff Endsley and his daughter were written with amazing emotion.
If you’re looking for a book with a little bit of everything, this is it! 5 stars for Sawyer and I can’t wait to read more form Nicole Edwards!
